Scooters Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Chisago City

Got robbed over mushrooms and onions.

The menu says a bacon cheeseburger costs 13.95$. so I'm like wow. Being a low income disabled person. I thought I could afford one restaurant meal. For me and my disabled friend.

I ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers. With only onions and mushrooms for toppings. Simple request. The total should have been 27.90$ plus tax I guess.

But the total came to 38.50.. before the tip.

This means we were charged over ten dollars. I guess to substitute the normal toppings. For just onions and mushrooms.

I even left a ten dollar tip. Because I'm sure the waitress needs the money more than two poor disabled people.

The burger was big. But the bun was not appropriately sized for the large burger. Making it a mess.

Bad business.

I had a water to drink. And my friends mountain dew. Was paid for right away when we got their. Before I ordered and paid for the burgers in their own transaction. At the bar. Did not run a tab. And even if the mountain dew was on the food bill. Over ten bucks for one cup of mountain dew. No refills?

So I guess I was charged 1.50 $ extra per burger. To have less topping on my burger than it comes with. And I was never told this. I just get a bill....

We stopped in for dinner around 5pm on a Sunday as we were passing through. It wasn't packed but service was inattentive and slow. It just seemed like if you weren't a local, you didn't matter, since the bartender were busy having conversations and serving people they knew. We waited nearly 40 minutes for food and in that time were asked once if we wanted a second drink while we waited. Never given an update as to why our food took so long. However, when our food did come out it was fresh and hot. The broasted chicken was deep fried, so I'm not exactly sure what their definition of broasted is, but it was good. I find that communication goes a long way and that's all we needed to have a good experience but it...

Stopped in for a late lunch with a group of 6. Right off the bat the male bartender, said it would be a wait for food. Fine... we weren't expecting fast food. We attempted to ask if we could move a couple tables together, twice, and ignored both times as he walked right by us. The bartender even bumped into someone in our party and didn't apologize or acknowledge he even bumped into someone. Needless to say, we left before we even sat down. We went down the road to a different restaurant and had impeccable service with a smile. I cannot recommend this place and definitely will...
