We took our granddaughter to play and get some fresh air on a beautiful day and being 5 she was one happy kid. There was enough to keep her entertained for a couple hours. She even convinced her grandpa to go down the hillside tube slide a ride he said was scary enough that he'd never do again! But kids LOVE it. We watched a woman dare another to try it and you could hear her scream all the way through lol. There's swings for all ages, a jungle gym, another swing ride that's hard to describe, but reminded me of zip lining. The beach area was not open yet ( too cold) but people were playing with kids and others were fishing. There's a pavilion for group events plus picnic areas with tables and grills so you could plan a day....

Big playground with swings and the slides are actually pretty big for a park. They also have a sand volleyball court. The restrooms were porter potties, which I thought was odd considering it was a nice park. The parking lot was kind of small but we didn’t have a problem finding a parking spot. Read moreThe park is fun but the plastic equipment gets too hot in the sun on days that it is 80s or 90s. Great shade up by the pavilion, but could use more trees for shade around the playground. And I would highly recommend not using gravel in the play areas. My son ended up with a gash in his forehead and road rash on his shoulder/arm from sliding down one of the metal slides and landing on the gravel.
