Just your typical Chinese buffet, mislabeled food items, the red Coca-Cola cups, and of course, the lovely greasy food. Though this place does feel unsanitary.
This place is just like any other Chinese buffet but with a few changes. This place sticks out like a sore thumb in this kind of area so it's pretty easy to spot in a fast, moving vehicle. It's kind of on top of a hill so I get to see what else is around the area. This place also has its own parking that is somewhat shared with Advance Auto Parts.
The food quality is slightly better than the average Chinese buffet. I better hope so because this buffet does not offer as many choices as other Chinese buffets I have been to. The choices themselves are typical Americanized Chinese selections such as the famous, one and only, general tso's chicken with special guest star sesame chicken. Though most of the food look dry whenever I left my table to go retrieve more food. My favorite is the crab rangoon (or could be cheese rangoon). The buffet makes this particular item very well.
The atmosphere is just like any other Chinese buffet. Chinese stickers here, lanterns there, random garbage over there hiding. Nothing special. The place itself is not too clean but at least they try.
Service is great though! My waitress actually gives me attention. Then again there were not that many tables to serve at the time I went (1 p.m. on a Monday).
Price is the main reason to come here. I pay 7-8 bucks for a lunch buffet with a taste of regret for eating too...
Read moreI've only done Doordash for this place, but I feel I can give the same review as any other customer.
The food is great, well prepared and well kept, the kitchen is away from the dining area and is not loud, and the kitchen itself is very large so they can cook lots of things very efficiently.
Other than that it's not great, the floor has industrial carpet - the grey, short carpet that is basically fuzzy concrete - it's dirty and doesn't belong in a restaurant, the dining area seems thrown together with mismatching decor and booths throughout the dining area, the buffet is easy to access with nice and fresh food.
The manager seems to be taking on too much at once, she keeps the phone on her pants via the clip on it (wireless landline phone) and is the only one who answers, because of this she is always busy and often takes a while to ring your food up and seems stressed constantly, she tries to be nice and polite, but often the facade is easy to see through.
Due to the dirtiness of the carpet and dining area I would not feel that comfortable eating here, but seeing how often I delivered from there and the fact it always had people, including high schoolers, this place seems to be a local favorite and more than safe to eat at.
I recommend this place on its food and reputation, but I condemn it on its interior, decor, and overall feel.
I think it should be mentioned that other than the manager no one is like that, the staff is very kind and friendly, more than...
Read moreWe have been eating here for years, but after tonight's visit, NEVER AGAIN! The food was not at a safe hot temperature, and the General Tso chicken in particular had a taste that I can only describe as chicken that had been in the refrigerator for several days (even after a "fresh" hot batch was brought out the old flavor was still there). The mayonnaise shrimp wasn't even warm enough for the mayo to have melted. The calamari had long passed its prime before we arrived there (hard and dehydrated). There teriyaki chicken and "ribs" also had the old flavor that the general tso's had. The wait staff was unconcerned with customers' needs. I had to flag down our waitress after she passed our table several times without clearing plates that we were done with or offering to fill empty drinks. This was, by far, the WORST experience we have ever had at this establishment, and we will not be back. Ever. Food left us both nauseated, and it seems maybe the public would benefit from a health inspection being done on this place, for the reasons stated above and because when they did bring out "fresh" they mixed the old stuff that was not up to temp into...
