Hardee’s — Restaurant in Christiansburg

For reference: Ive never been to a Hardee's but I have been to a carl Jr's and I liked it but while traveling I wanted to try a Hardees's. I also ordered with doordash you will see why below...

So first off I dont expect much from fast food but this was far below disappointment. Driving towards the hotel we decided we would order ahead and either pickup curbside or drive thru. Well I could not find a Hardee's app in the app store so then I thought maybe it was just one app for them and carls Jr so I opened that app and used my location and it said sorry no restaurants to be found. So then I tried the website and found the location and hit order and the only options it gave me was doordash or uber eats so I assume you cant order ahead with Hardee's??!!

So we decided instead of going and waiting at the drive thru we would check into the hotel and order with doordash because it was offering free delivery and we would unpack while waiting.

So I place the order...5 piece chicken strips with buffalo sauce(I have never seen that as a dipping sauce so I was sort of excited to try it) I also wanted ranch but it wouldnt let me do more than one sauce on doordash app so I texted the dasher to make sure they could also get me ranch. When the order showed up the bag was sealed by the restaurant and doordash app placed the order instead of the dasher placing the order so I dont think the dasher did anything wrong but when i opened the bag I had barbecue sauce and ranch. Not the same thing!

And I had my doordash settings set that if anything was out of stock to contact me and I was not contacted.

I also ordered a side salad that you can see in the photo(It came in a burger box??! How do you mix salad and dressing in a burger box that has holes on the side?? Is this a thing??!

I also ordered two different types of burgers and they were both the most flavorless pieces of garbage we have ever eaten. They were slightly overcooked and one of them the meat was heavily injected with liquid smoke and all the ingredients were bland and old looking and the bacon was the most limp soggy pieces of bacon I have ever seen and the buns seemed to be a bit stale.

I mean this might take the cake for the worst fast food experience ever!

Absolutely awful. Waiting 15 minutes for a fairly simple order, didn't get a fork for my platter and they didn't have small lids. So I went back up and spent 10 minutes trying to get their attention to get a fork and lid and was completely ignored for 10 minutes. So by the time I got my fork and lid and went to eat, my food was cold and the people I was with said it was all cold when they first sat down and I had to scarf it down because they were waiting on me after I had to go back and get something the employees shorted me. Then as I was leaving I waited 5 minutes for the lady to refill the tea and I refilled my sweet tea from the SWEET TEA urn. I got outside and took a sip and not a bit of sugar was in it so I just had to throw it away. Also not impressed with how slow they move around and their customer service is terrible. I don't like seeing someone with a long ponytail hanging out with no hair net and people handling my cold food with no gloves on. I was also shorted a sausage biscuit. Glad I'm just a traveler passing through and don't have to ever eat at this...

I purchased an online through the Hardee's app it takes about 15 minutes to get to this Hardee's from my house I had my order number pulled up when I went through drive-through they told me that it wasn't on their screen sorry about your luck nothing we can do you have to activate your order there was nothing on the app to say activate it just said should be ready in about 5 minutes I even had the text if they had sent me this has happened before and other Hardee's where the internet was slow in this area they were very rude and uncourteous my daughter lives not far from this Hardee's has had similar issues with them I don't think I will use this Hardee's ever again I will continue to use the one in Radford the other two and Christiansburg I will also say that on other occasions using this Hardee's that the food was so quality I don't frequent this Hardee's very often because of that I only use this one because it was on the way to my destination I think it would do them well to remember that is customers that...
