Maid-Rite — Restaurant in Christopher

I normally love this place and I have never had any issues with the food or service. The other night we ordered some maid rite sandwiches. They were really greasy! They were so greasy the buns were wet. It was disgusting. We ate them because we were starving but they were not good. The food made my stomach hurt. My mom was sick throwing up all night. I believe the greasy sandwiches was what made her sick. I should have called and told them about it but I let it go. These sandwiches cost too much for them to be bad. I'll go back but if I get bad food again I will not eat it and I tell them about it so they can give me better food...

Waitress very unfriendly and when asked for the menu rudely pointed to the one on the counter and said "Right there " , Then gave her $100 for a $10 order and she handed me $70 back .Said sorry and moved on to the next mess up .She was also the one who cooked the food and handed out the orders .Forgot half of what we ordered and then got ours mixed up with another customer which we brought back in and she had to make it all over again. Didn't care for the waitress at all and she had no personality ,acted like it was an inconvience for her to fix her mistakes .Sandwiches were very bland nothing like I...

Came here as a child with my grandfather. So, there's the small town, iconic, retro feel for me. That said, the buns toasted on both sides for the Maid-Rite signature sandwich was overdone and crunchy. The meat mixture was dry and bland. Moderately busy, the main server wasn't much to check in or check back with you. Service was a 2, at best.

*I was considering ordering pie, but decided that the wait for even the server to check back with me... was too long. Hoping to get my check / bill soon. (About to drop a 20 on the counter...
