The Hop Brewery — Restaurant in Christopher

I don't typically write Google reviews but the public deserves to be informed about this place. They rely on people coming to spend the afternoon drinking and dining for several hours with nowhere to be. If you are going for a simple lunch, do not even consider this place. Our waitress was great, but the cook staff left us waiting for 2.5 hours. We had to ask for our mac n cheese to be reheated twice. The buns were hard enough to be in a food display case. We were served a wrong beer. The cheese sauce for the pretzels physically could not be dipped into. It had to be spread on the pretzel. Keep in mind we were the only table in the place and there were 3 cooks in the kitchen. All of this and we were not discounted a single dollar. I left no tip and requested the waitress tip be pulled from the end total because she earned her keep; the restaurant did not. This also is not a full service kitchen. They microwaved or confectionery ovened Every. Single. Dish. Until they either become a full service kitchen or cut back their menu to appetizers only, don't even bother trying to eat here unless you have 3 hours to spare. PS I rate the beer a 2 out of 5. Every glass tasted like bottom of the keg, but it got the job done as far as booze...
