UPDATE: They did it again. Order placed, acknowledged, charged, order status now Delivered and the order has not been delivered. I called the store and they told me delivering the order has nothing to do with them. I explained to them I had ordered this from Casey's and both Casey's people I talked to denied any responsibility for delivery and they refused to take any action to complete my order.
So I called DoorDash. They were unable to reach the delivery driver, who seems to have simply stolen my order and quit their job. I asked DoorDash about Casey's bizarre treatment of me and they told me problems like this are supposed to be handled between Casey's and DoorDash and that customers should not have to handle Casey's delivery failures ourselves and of course that is correct.
The problem here is that the two people I talked to at Casey's were not doing their jobs and require instruction from someone who understands how they are supposed to do their jobs.
I called the store again and recounted my call with DD. The Casey's person denied knowledge of how to address a delivery failure but eventually admitted she could call DD herself and reluctantly agreed to do so. After grousing that I should just come pick up my order myself, she recommended I reorder and expect a long wait because other orders were ahead of mine. This, of course, is ludicrous. I reminded her my order was already more than half an hour late and asked for contact info for the owner, which I was denied.
I reordered and am interested to see what happens. The owner is to be in the store tomorrow and I look forward to discussing this with them.
UPDATE: Thinking it is safe to order drinks from them, I tried that today. Door Dash delivered my order and I found that I had not received what I had ordered. I called the store and the woman I talked to gave me a vague promise to deliver what I had ordered. That was hours ago and radio silence. I'm the idiot here - I keep giving them chances to fix their mistakes and they keep letting me down.

See photo. Unbelievable. He's didn't even knock, just dropped my food on the floor and slithered away. I called the store to tell them the guy put my food on the floor and all she would do is tell me DoorDash had delivered it. And then DoorDash told me to call the store. Obviously, anybody who doesn't want to eat off the floor should order from elsewhere.
I called the store again after DoorDash shirked their responsibility and the woman I spoke to took my name and number and promised the manager would call the next day. It is now 6PM on the next day and still no call.
So not only does this store do business with a company that employs people who silently drop food on the FLOOR and skulk away, they employ people who do not do as they'll say.
It's despicable.
UPDATE: I sent a message using the instructions in the reply the day the reply was posted. That was three days ago and no response so far.
UPDATE: Two weeks later and still no response. This started as an extremely easy problem to fix - stop dropping food on the floor. Now we've got complete failures from four...

We are talking about 2nd degree BAD burns from this coffee that required medical attention. Desiree had the audacity to chime in while my mother was having a conversation about a week later with another employee about her arm being wrapped up from her burns healing, saying "oh you're the one." and had the audacity to rudely tell her to come over by the coffee so she can show her how to "put a lid on a coffee cup." This is not her place to do something like this. To be condescending to another customer who already was dealing with this sort of injury and to be talked to like they are to blame is ridiculous.
