It's pretty alright pizza. Standard i guess, which explains my 3 star rating.
I do wish these chain 'bistro' type places would put a little more cheese and toppings on considering the upcharge/profit they make off of like 1 or 2 ounces more of a topping.
You can tell they proportioned 1 singular piece of chicken or 1 sausage bite per square slice. Mildly cheap but not anything every other chain place doesnt do, too.
Also, the dough tasted odd, like it's whole grain or something other than refined white flour. Who knows but it left an unwanted taste. Wish it was standard dough.
Yeah, there should be much, much more cheese considering the price point. No "cheese pull" between the slices, as they say in the industry. On top of that, I added mozzarella as a topping choice, and feel I was gypped in that regard too. Only noticed small amounts on 1 side of pizza.
Miniscule bruschetta, small thin tomato slices, etc. the list goes on and on.
Also, no evidence of any roma cheese sprinkled on top, or the parmesan cheese I requested...that was ignored too.
The more I think about it, this is a 0 star review. Failed in every way other than delivery being timely and the pizza being presentable, at least. But that's the least of what makes a great pizza. Also, after some research I found their "award-winning" dough contains corn meal and tasted, to me, like whole/multi-grain.
In summary: Stop skimping and being misers. People are trying to support you when they could get a 16-18 inch pizza with all the toppings at Wal-mart or...
Read moreToppings weren’t evenly spread out. Vegetables weren’t chopped enough, I took one bite from my pizza and it was like I ate half of a green pepper. If I’m paying 25 dollars for a customized pizza, I’d hope to get top quality. Whoever is making the pizzas during the day is not qualified to prepare food correctly and that’s just sad. The boneless wings are garbage. Most definitely were frozen and then just heated up. I threw them away. My dipping sauce container wasn’t even filled up half of the way either.
The only thing good about the store is how fast my order arrived to my door, but there’s really no point when you overpay for below average food.
Never eating Donatos again. How can you not do the most simple job in the world correctly? It’s making a pizza for Jesus sake, it’s laying down toppings. Just sad and irritating when I pay that much for a poorly-put-together pizza...
Read moreI ordered a big Don and a ham and cheese. The big Don was add onion take off tomatoes. Ham and and just regular. Supposed to be anyway, instead it had onions covered and cooked all over it. Disgusting. I work thirds and didn't know my lunch had been prepared wrong until I took that one bit. Anyways the manager who called himself Jerry was very unprofessional. At the beginning he began refusing to replace the sub. Again said " I WORK 3RDS, ) so with the most negative and overly rude attitude he hateful agreed to replace it as long as I can provide the wrong made sub 1st. So I think I'm heading there soon. One other thing, once I get it replaced I won't be doing anymore business there. I've already told my people so hopefully they don't have to deal w8th such a grumpy customer service...
