This was my first time here. I took someone special out for mothers day and heres how it went. We were seated quickly. The server was amazing. BUT my glass had something stuck on it. She brought me a new one. We ordered although seemed a bit rushed. We got our food. The chicken was not hot. Both our side were colder than the drinks. My country fried steak was hot. For 30 some bucks and mothers day you would think they would be on their A game. So when i went to pay the bill another server without her mask up blew me off with my concerns about they quality of food. But was willing to take that money. Then i saw a manager and discussed with her my concerns. I kid you not after i told her about the food temps. She said "well maybe they set in the window to long"???? Really?!!!? What could have gave you that idea. Anyway our server was nice and friendly. But dont think i will go back and will tell others to avoid also. Drive to a bob evans or something. Would really like to talk to the owner about...
Read moreI love supporting local but so disappointed. At work we’ve called in large orders in the past (mostly breakfast/omelets) and they’ve always been great and friendly. Exact words were “oh my God. Do they really think we don’t have enough to do? What are they going to ask us to do next. People are ridiculous.” I could hear another waitress laughing about her statements. I should have cancelled the order but I felt bad about my coworkers already missing lunch. Food was good but we’ll be taking our large at work...
Read moreI recently had a meal at Goodwin’s Family Restaurant in Circleville and left feeling pleasantly satisfied. The restaurant has a cozy, down-to-earth atmosphere—complete with classic diner booths and friendly chatter in the background. I tried their broasted chicken and it was perfectly crisp on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Their homemade onion rings were a tasty sidekick, and the mashed potatoes and gravy were comforting just like mom used to make.
The staff was warm and welcoming—our server greeted us right away and checked in regularly without being overbearing. Portions are generous, and prices are reasonable too. Whether you’re dropping in for breakfast, lunch, or the weekend buffet, it’s a reliable spot with solid, home-cooked comfort food. Definitely worth visiting if...
