Horrible service and food. I went there and got hubby and me 2 big Country breakfast burritos. When I get home, I noticed no napkins. Whatever, it happens. But then when I pull out the burritos, and they're less than 3 fingers (I have very small fingers), uh-uh. Not normal. I don't eat CJs breakfast often, but when I do, I get this burrito. When the tortilla wraps around an additional 1.5 times, that's not okay, esp when you're paying over $4 a burrito. It's one of their most expensive breakfast items. Normally I can't eat a whole one and have a snack for later. To boot, the entire top half of my burrito was nothing but the hash brown circles. There was no cheese and a dollop of gravy at the very bottom. I could've gotten a 2 for $4 sausage egg McMuffin across the street and actually be full right now for half the price.
I called the manager, Mike, to explain. He said he doesn't know how that could be, because they pre-portion everything ahead of time. I said then you guys are jipping everyone, not just me. Wow, I feel better now. I told him I know how big it's supposed to be because it's the only thing I get from there. He said he wouldn't do anything unless I come back for him to inspect the burritos. Yeah, it's nasty, rainy outside so you want me to come prove it to you? He was already defensive, rather than trying to understand the issue, so I knew I'd likely go back up there for him to defend why the mini burrito was normal. Complete waste of time.
I've only had to call a couple restaurants before, but they've always been willing to leave a coupon with my name or something, just so not too inconvenience me further. That's fine, because literally within a square city block there's McDonald's, Jack in the Box, Burger King and Taco Bell, who all serve breakfast. I will steer clear of this Carl's Jr for everything. My hubby love's CJs, so when he gets a craving, I'll get taquitos from the green burrito side. At this point, hubby agrees, they just lost our business. This is a classic situation of stepping over dollars to pick up cents.
If you do go here, don't make my mistake. Check your bag, open up your food, and make sure it's to your liking before you leave...
Read morei like that place. i wish they update it make it bit more fresh and newer look. most fast food places have underwent complete renovations and stores look very bright, inviting and modern. i like their burgers but as soon as i step into that location, i am hit with a heavy cooking smell.
Several times i had my order wrong. i realized that after i have arrived home and started eating it. i would even get a complete different burger of what i have ordered.
i am not big fan of the service, it has always been ok. The usual: someone takes my order, barely any facial expressions or salutations. they always sounded in a hurry and hated their job.
Today will be my last visit to the store due to the way an older man was treated. while i was waiting to get my food, an older gentleman stood behind me waiting to order. i noticed that the man was standing there for a while with no one assisting him. also a young girl was sent by her mom to get some ketchup and she was told by her mom to wait for someone to pass by and ask for ketchup. they waited several minutes with no one approaching the counter. I approached the counter to assist the young girl and look over the counter to grab sight of someone. i noticed that the lady who assisted me was helping in the kitchen with another person and the drive-thru lady was busy. so i commented saying to the older man "i hope you don't wait much longer and someone notices that you are here." the employee hearing what I said, responds as she is coming to the counter area to bag the food "We are busy, OKay?". the gentleman then tells her that he will go elsewhere due to the amount of time he had to wait and she simply says "OK". That employee has no clue how to smile or to be cordial or nice. It seems that she cares about the business and did not put any effort to make the client feel important.
From now on, i will go elsewhere and...
Read moreAnthony at the drive thru window is the rudest most inconsiderate person we’ve ever met. Our driver paid for our order in cash and realized he had a quarter to make correct change. Tried to get Anthony’s attention but Anthony ignored him and then back back telling our driver to stop yelling and calm down. Anthony gave our driver change and told us to pull around front. We did and then Anthony comes out front, walks up to our driver and states “he has the right to refuse service” and hands our driver our money back. I’m a 70 year old white woman and was lout of the car waiting to talk to Anthony when he came out. But no, he wouldn’t stop and even talk to me to explain what was going on. Funny thing is our driver had just picked us up from the airport and kind enough to stop for us to get a stupid hamburger. So folks be careful when you deal with a hot headed idiot. Don’t use this drive thru GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. We’ll never...
