Pancake Palace — Restaurant in California

I love this place! Completely amazing! The first time I went I was a little scared since the place looked a little old from the outside but once I entered, it was nice and cozy like a regular diner, but what I fell in love with was the atmosphere, they greeted me right away, and not just one person, every server that came by greeted me and my family, they sat us right away and took our drink order and right after the food, now this place has the best coffee I've ever had, and the refills are free, they come by as often as possible and give you more coffee, which is amazing service. Another great drink is the strawberry lemonade, they mix it up well with strawberry pieces, and OH, it's the best, and combined with the best breakfast pancakes, and Sunnyside up eggs. YUM! I've had alot of amazing combinations of food here, and I'm very pleased with the service! I would recommend for everyone to go here, and please try the coffee, and enjoy a very amazing environment! After reading the reviews, I figured this could be a good place for breakfast.

I ordered coffee. It's a dark brew but it tastes like dishwater. Suggestion: pick up a Starbucks on the way. They want $3 for coffee, so Starbucks will only cost you an extra 25 cents.

My waitress tells me the omelettes are excellent, so I ordered the bacon, swiss, and mushroom omelette with pancakes.

The omelette was folded over and the Swiss cheese had been placed in the middle. It wasn't warm, let alone melted, and the entire omelet was around half an inch high folded double with the cheese.

The omelet was overcooked and hard, but I ate it anyway. I want going to cause any trouble.

I chose the pancakes instead of hash browns and toast. You can see the huge stack. 😁 The problem is they have too little salt in the mixture, and they look great but they're tasteless. So was the pancake syrup.
