Let me start by saying that my roommate and I have ordered pizza from this Domino's once a week, for about the last 6 months. Never. Again. We have never had any major issues, a few times we've gotten the wrong crust, or asked for extra seasoning that we didn't get. Nothing worth getting upset over. HOWEVER. Last night we ordered a medium pizza and a side of the cheesy bread. We ordered online, and paid with a credit card via the website. I called after ordering to request extra seasoning on the crust as there is no option for that online. When the delivery driver came to the door, he asked for payment, and when I explained that I had already paid online, he called his manager to confirm. The manager requested to speak with me, so the delivery driver hands me his cell phone. I advised the manager, who said his name is "Sean", that I paid online using my CC. So this manager says to me, "well that's not my problem, we don't have control over the website, you will need to contact corporate. I will need you to give me with your credit card information over the phone." While I am talking to "Sean", my roommate opens our pizza to find a whole pie in the box. They did not cut it at all! Not only that, one side of the box is completely drenched in grease. Literally soaked. All the while I am trying to dig my credit card out of my wallet, with the delivery driver standing outside in the cold, the manager tells me, "Well we can have them take this pizza back and bring you a new one." I am not sure how long this person has been a manger, but I was completely shocked by his responses and told him so. Not once did the manager apologize. "I am sorry you had this issue with the website, but if you don't mind, can we take your payment information over the phone?" "I am sorry, the website is acting up, but we can take the payment over the phone now." "I am sorry about your pizza, we were in such a rush to get it to you on time, we forgot to cut it." All it takes is a simple, I am sorry this happened, but his tone said it all. He simply did not care. I have never been at such a loss for words, this guy was point blank - RUDE. I refused to pay for this pizza, but did tip the driver as it wasn't his fault. We will NEVER order from this Domino's again. The only reason we would ever order from any other Domino's again, is because the delivery driver (whose name we forgot to get) was so polite...
Read moreUnprofessional, rude management, both the manager Darren and his assistant are completely incompetent. This is the second time in the last three orders they have messed up my order at this location. Upon calling to discuss, we were told they could remake the pizza, and we could come back out to pick it up. I tell them it is unreasonable to expect us to come back to the location after driving 15 minutes each way and asked if they could bring the pizza to us since this was not our fault. Darren responded with an argumentative attitude, talking over me on multiple occasions, and said if we wanted the pizza brought to us, they would charge us the delivery fee. Im sorry, what? To fix your mistake (he was the one who made the pizza per their tracker), you want me to pay for it? They said they could either remake the order and I could come pick it up, or they would put a credit in the system to pick it up at a later date. This is not acceptable.
What was most irritating about this situation is my wife has a gluten sensitivity, and they gave her a thin regular crust cheese pizza. They had no regard or concern for her safety at all, not even apologizing until I completely lost my cool. I will never visit this location again.
I would like the franchise owner to contact me to discuss this situation, as I will be escalating this all the way up the Dominos corporate ladder and feel that if this were my business, I would want to know. This is not what I have come to expect from the brand over the many, many years, and hundreds of orders I have personally placed.
Dominos has lost a very loyal customer over this situation, and because of this location and management. I know they are probably too big to care, but there are MANY other options in our area to get a great...
Read morePizza & Delivery = 8.5/10. Technology = 3/10 Seriously, who came up with the online ordering experience?...the same people who did the ObamaCare website? No one cares to watch the Pete the Pizza maker cartoon progress (unless maybe in Colorado) Extremely cumbersome, repetitive, wasteful, counter-intuitive, and repetitive...any common sense in there? - Also repetitive. Put the prices by the items so you don't have to click 5 pages forward to know cost, and then go 5 pages back to adjust anything, then 5 pages forward again to know the new cost...is this some sore of shell game? Why can't I tip the driver in advance, included with my order, at the time of payment, relieving drivers, kids, babysitters, etc. with handling cash, change, tipping, etc...not to mention safer and...
