We went to The Yard Milkshake Bar on Dec. 26th 2022. There was one employee working behind the counter with a long line. We got our order 30 minutes after coming in. My son has a dairy sensitivity and when asked about their lactose free option, he said they ran out of that ice cream and could not offer an alternative. I ordered the sundae options and at $17 each it is a complete waste of money. They give you this glass container with melted ice cream that is maybe 8oz and than they fill up the top with either a donut, brownie or cookie with tons of whipped cream or marshmallow cream and sprinkles or chocolate chips to make it seem like you are getting a lot. The ice cream is sub par and you can tell it’s made with inferior ingredients. Behind the counter they had Tupperware with labels showing when the toppings were either baked or packaged with a date of Dec 16th. I personally would never...

If you want cool looking desert, this is the best place to come. If you want a tasty desert, this is not the place to come. It was crowded when I went, and waited about 20 minutes for the ice cream. Not a bad wait time. The service was fine. But again, the flavors weren’t wow. The brownie was not good. It tasted like it came frozen and was de thawed. It’s not a brownie that anyone would order to eat on its own. It’s a show brownie, only good for the presentation. The ice cream tasted like ice cream. They had lots and lots of flavors, but all really regular ones. The cookie dough that came on the side of the cookie dough ice cream was very bland. It wasn’t very sweet, had a mild flavor and again, was there just for show. It was a cool experience to do once, but I won’t be coming back because it just wasn’t good. Visually this place is a 10/10. But lacked good...

Went to The Yard for a celebration and date night. There are so many tasty options to choose from, I definitely recommend reading the menu ahead of time. We had just come from dinner which was a bad choice because the dessert portions are HUGE and it's easy to get full very fast. We tried the Cookie Butter Me Up and Buckeye Brownie (November special). The only thing I believe didn't taste up to my standards was the brownie itself that came on top of the shake, it was more cake like then fudgey so it could be just personal preference. This is definitely a great place for a special treat night. It was about $40 with tip for 2 speciality shakes. They do have cheaper options if you were to built your own shake and get less toppings. The staff members were really nice and offered us as many samples as we would like prior to ordering. We will...

Wonderfully complex milkshakes But man they're expensive, like really expensive, like two milkshakes cost as much as dinner for 3 at fine dining. My milkshake wasn't even filled all the way up, it's really not a lot. I asked if we get to have a lid for the mason jar as they sell lidded ones with ice cream, and I was told absolutely not. Why? Who knows. Frankly it tastes like a normal milkshake, nothing special. But we eat with our eyes and I admit the presentation is great. But you could make it at home for a billion dollars cheaper. My recommendation, visit it once for the experience, but don't bother coming again unless you're a billionaire, oh and buy your own mason jar lids because apparently they just throw out the lids for the ones they give you.
