Dragon City — Restaurant in City of Albany

Really disappointing- The breading was so thick, it was not clear whether there was actually any real chicken under the all the coating. Tasted dry and chewy.

Got General Tao's Chicken and another chicken dish but they both tasted the same.

It appeared that the restaurant might have been using frozen pre-breaded chicken pieces and pre-made sauces.

Also tried a shrimp dish. The shrimp were minute and few. The vegetables were overcooked and soggy.

The streamed dumplings were thick commercial grade items, also apparently pre-frozen.

Understand this restaurant does a lot of student business which is surprising since prices are not cheap for the quality. In short this place is not competitive even for a place like Albany.

Tried this restaurant after a few friends recommended it. Guess I should have understood that few Americans really know or appreciate real Chinese food which at its best uses fresh ingredients. Not something you will find at...

SCAM- DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! I used to order from here years ago but the quality and service are exponentially worse now. I ordered a boneless spare ribs combo today and I received a container of 90% rice. When I called the restaurant to ask if this was a mistake (since my friend’s food had a reasonable amount of rice/meat), the guy on the phone said “our customers know that when you order this, it comes with mostly rice because it doesn’t have vegetables and it’s hard to make. You have to order the large to get more meat and even then, it’s not a lot because it’s expensive.” Essentially, he told me that’s just how it is and basically blamed me for not knowing. This place is not recommended. Some of the worst Chinese I've had. Got sesame and general tso chicken. Sauce was too thick, tasted like cleaning solution, and the chicken was gamey. Honestly didn't taste like chicken at all. The parking lot is also really hard to drive into. They also reversed the bill charge was supposed to be 46.49, they charged me 49.46. Called ahead to ensure order was ready before driving over, person on phone was short and rude. Egg rolls are small as well on the combination plates.
