I thought my encounters with incompetent employees were over until I walked into Papa John's to find, unsurprisingly, no one in sight. 5 mintues deep into problem solving I notice my order right behind the counter, prepaid for all I need is someone to hand it to me. I grabbed my soda so the door can slam after in a failed attempt at attracting attention. Going on 9 mintues of inner debate as to the psychological and economical reasons for an empty store, I lean over the counter to see if anyone is in the blindspot. Of course there was. First time I say excuse me the person was unresponsive, head tilted down pretending they don't know I'm there. Classic illusion of being busy. The second excuse me carried more weight, leading to eye contact, I followed up by asking for the order while refraining any comment about how it would take less than 15 seconds or burn less than 5 calories to complete. They responded with "I said I'll be over there in a minute."

I called today to order my two free pizzas and the guy on the line talked with the manager and said I had to order online in order to get my pizzas. I said I don't have access to do that and I always order my food over the phone so I should not have to order the free pizzas over the internet. This was not told to me when they mentioned I get these for my inconsiderate and their mistake. The guy said that's what my manager said. Read moreLet me say that although I have always been happy with the service from this location, what prompted me to write this review is how they handled a complaint: I placed an order that included 2 20-oz. drinks. I received all of my food, but only 1 of the drinks. I placed a call to the restaurant and they sent me my 2nd drink. No fussiness, no anger, no attitude or anything like that. It was just listening to me as a customer and delivering the missing piece of my order. I was pleased with that customer service and that is why, in addition to my overall satisfaction with my experience at this location, that I am leaving a (5 star) review.
