Ran out of food on a Saturday night. You suck
Update on my reviewâŠ.VERY DISTURBINGâŠ. I got a call from the owner this morning about my review. She was yelling at me because I said they ran out of food and you suck. That was all I said. What is disturbing is that the owner called me, and I feel that youâre allowed to post anything you want on a review. Especially, if you feel the service was in adequate. What is disturbing is how she get my phone number to call me. I didnât even use my cc,, so there was no way to obtain my cell phone number. And even if I did, I donât think your cell phone appears on your credit card transactions. She had to go through extremes to find my cell phone number only to yell at me on the phone. If she concentrated on having enough food in the restaurant, and not spending so much time looking at her reviews, maybe they wouldâve had food in the kitchen. Totally.unbelievable!! Yikes! Never going back there! đ¶đ¶
OMG!! Did you erase all of your horrible reviews? I saw soooo many when I first wrote mine in the fall. You are not fooling anyone. Your service is absolutely horrible. I came back in there a couple weeks ago. Apparently, you didn't notice. Again, you ran out of food. Not everything like you did back in the fall when I was there. But, many items on the menu were not available. When I think back to my first experience and you calling me on the phone to SCREAM at me I should've known it wasn't going to be any different. Instead of calling me (again on my cell in which you had no business in calling, and how did you get my number). At that time, you should have apologized and offered me a free meal (at another time) for making me go to a farther restaurant from my home. I had to pay an Uber for your lack of food....running out at 8:30 p.m. on a Saturday night. Instead you called me the next day screaming at me for the bad review. Totally unprofessional. Who does this? NOBODY with any business sense. I wouldn't doubt your business won't last that long. Everything is extremely overpriced. Why don't you put those bad reviews back on your page. Quit...
Read moreLocated right across from St. Pete's, Restaurant 605 is a newly renovated, family-owned restaurant/bar that is focused on scratch-made "globally-inspired" fare. You'll also find American-style burgers and fries with the bonus that the chef is focused on quality.
The specials yesterday were homemade empanadas with chimichurri sauce and a "city style" chopped cheese hoagie (ground beef, American cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce and tomato). We ordered both of those options, baked buffalo honey garlic wings and a side of sweet potato fries. Everything was literally perfect.
The empanada was the real deal - not a hint of grease and packed with flavor. I don't eat much beef, but that hoagie was beyond excellent. Regular and sweet potato fries rocked. They provided some honey mustard and Carolina sauce for dipping; I absolutely loved the Carolina sauce. Wings were slightly spicy with a hint of sweetness and the blue cheese dressing was just right.
We learned that even the sauces/dips/dressings are homemade. While I desperately tried to finish everything, we ultimately needed a to-go box.
There's a great selection of tap beers, cocktails and wine. Staff/owners are super friendly, pleasant and professional. Decor is open, clean and comfortable. There are lots of TV's for viewing sports while enjoying some really good food and choice bevs.
Bravo Restaurant 605!
I wish them tremendous success and I...
Read moreI usually do not like to leave a negative review. đWent to this establishment tonight (Thursday). The bar was not busy people here and there. Two seats readily available at the Bar. Sat down. Waited 20 minutes for the bartender that was not personable at all on top of inattentive to approach/greet. I greeted with a smile and âhow are you?â. 27 minutes later he returned finally again for a drink order weâre 40 minutes without even a drink. Still no food menus when we asked immediately. The bartender was preoccupied chatting with a female patron. After all of this, when I asked for our check he once again waited on everyone else leaving us sitting there and then disappeared to change a keg. Had to pay the bill in cash as once again there was no service to swipe our card and I was hungry wanting to find somewhere else to get food as it was now getting late. Prices were high in my opinion for this level of restaurant establishment. I understand you canât please everyone. We had one of their âon specialâ appetizers and it was creative and well plated. $15 for one stuffed portobello đâđ« mushroom. Very salty and spicy even though the description did not mention heat. I think itâs a cute place but the service and food.. Well need some working on/tweaking. Just my two cents. 2 beers, one wine and an appetizer was $50...
