Warning: Discriminatory Behavior Towards Customers of Color
I have been a loyal customer of Taichi Bubble Tea since they opened, often spending around $100 per visit with my children. Four days ago, I purchased three panda stuffed bears for my children, totalling approximately $60.
Today, we visited again because my son was sick and we felt their soup would help him feel better, spending nearly $100 once more.
However, today’s visit took a distressing turn. As we were leaving, the worker who had sold me the stuffed pandas approached us, implying that we were trying to steal one of their stuffed animals.
Firstly, the employee who interacted with me had sold me the items in question just three days prior. Therefore, her “uncertainty” about their availability seemed unfounded and led to my perception of the situation.
Secondly, while I understand that no discriminatory language was used, I believe there was a form of projection in the employee’s actions, which contributed to the feeling of discrimination my children and I experienced.

I do not mind the more hands-off customer service experience, and order on the touch-screens every time. It's fast and friendly, even if my interactions are limited.
My only negative observation would be that I often times feel like the entry way/doors are covered with hand prints and look like they haven't been cleaned in a while, even when we are only the second or third customer of the day, and as a parent with a child with immune issues, I tend to notice these things probably more than others. I think with a higher attention to detail in this way might bring my rating up by at...

No less than 30 seconds later another customer walk up to the register and was allowed to place a food order. The only difference between us and the customer that was allowed to place an order was ethnicity. Us a Black couple and her Caucasian. We would never go this location again. The kitchen manager was rude and the young man working along side him was also. When asked why we could not place an order after witnessing the Caucasian woman place her order, we were told not to speak to them any longer and to contact the manager. RACISM AT...
