I went out with a group of nine adults and one toddler. With a group that large we made a reservation for 5:30pm and our table inside was ready when we arrived. We all arrived by no later than 5:45pm.
Our drink orders were taken and then we didn't see our waitress again until 6:15pm for our dinner orders. Three people ordered soup as an appetizer and for dinners there were four orders for a salad, there were two pastas (one with gluten free penne), two ordered appetizers as their entrees, and one sandwich. None of which were overly complicated or should've taken long to put together. My husband and I figured our toddler could eat off our plates since there was a no kids menu.
The soups came out around 6:45pm after a lot of mumbling about the timing of our food. To make matters worse, dinners weren't served until 7:15pm after little communication from our waitress about the delays other than that she was checking on it. When dinner was served, she asked me and another guest what we were waiting on. The other guest was waiting on his gluten free pasta and I my sandwich. His had been made without the gluten free pasta but my dish had been completely forgotten by the kitchen. His dish came out shortly after but I didn't get my dinner until 7:38pm at which point I asked for a take away box and the check.
I would NOT recommend the Back Nine and am giving two stars because the food was okay and not horrible. The restaurant was busy but certainly not packed enough to warrant that kind of delay or our waitress not checking in on us more often. After a two hour wait from being seated to receiving my meal (which was forgotten by the kitchen), I'm less than impressed by...
Read moreWhat a gem! I had an incredible dinner here—everything from the food to the drinks to the setting was spot on. We started with the charcuterie board, wings, and shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were huge and super fresh, and the wings had great flavor and crisp.
For my main, I had the chicken special, which came with a delicious mango chutney-style topping. The sides—green beans, carrots, and mashed potatoes—were all perfectly cooked and really rounded out the dish.
The cocktails were a highlight too. I tried the spicy margarita, gimlet, manhattan, and espresso martini, and each one was excellent. You can tell the bartenders take pride in what they do.
To finish things off, I had the affogato for dessert—simple, rich, and the perfect ending to the meal.
On top of all that, the owners, staff, and bartender were all genuinely lovely. They created such a welcoming, friendly vibe that made the whole experience feel like home.
We sat outside, and the view of the golf course was beautiful. It made the whole night feel relaxed and special. I’ll...
Read moreThe food and drinks at this restaurant are fantastic. I had the Mushroom Brandy pasta, which was delicious. I also recommend the appetizer options, particularly the charcuterie board and the wings, both of which I've tried and loved. The alcohol selection is extensive, featuring a fun list of cocktails. I enjoyed several drinks, all of which were perfectly made, thanks to the skillful bartender. The staff is extremely friendly and provides excellent service.
The atmosphere is great, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor deck offers a wonderful view and has a convenient service window for the bar. This restaurant is an exciting new addition to the golf course, and as a golfer, it has quickly become one of my regular spots. Even during the off-season, I plan to keep this place in my dining rotation. I highly recommend...
