Island Eatz — Restaurant in City of Cohoes

Every time I come there the atmosphere is great, everyone is smiling and friendly. The food is always cooked just right and never hesitant on the high quality. The staff take their job very seriously and have an abundance of passion to put on all their dishes. I’ve never been unsatisfied with any of the food I order. It doesn’t matter if it’s in the store or a delivery or grub hub I’ve ordered from every source, the quality never changes. They have very great prices as well, this place is a gem in the community and deserves all the attention and support it can get because quality, passion, consistency and integrity is at a all time low when it comes to restaurant service. Most of the time I order from places and the people are insincere and just going through it he motions to serve terribly and solve problems terribly. I’ve witnessed several occasions where these men always make sure the customers walk out satisfied and feeling good while eating a slice. I’ve never seen a hint of poor service in this wonderful place. I order everyday from here, and never regret it and my wallet doesn’t feel lighter throughout the week. I went to Island Eatz in Cohoes tonight and had such an amazing experience! The girl who helped me, Sammi, was absolutely incredible. Nowadays it’s rare to walk into a place and be greeted with a genuine smile and someone who is truly happy to serve you — but Sammi did just that. She was juggling the phones and customers but never once made me feel like a burden, even when I asked a ton of questions about the menu. She answered everything with patience and a smile, never missing a beat!

I ended up ordering two large pizzas (light on the sauce) and mozzarella sticks. The food came out quickly and OMG — the pizza was phenomenal! They actually listened and made it light on the sauce, and it was absolutely mouthwatering. The mozzarella sticks had the perfect cheese pull, just the right amount of crispiness, and were cooked to perfection.

I recently had the pleasure of trying Island Eatz, and I must say — it absolutely exceeded my expectations. Even though they just opened in 2025, they’re already serving food like seasoned pros!
