I might be biased, but I love Puerto Rican food, and this place is right in the neighborhood. I could eat a Jibarito and drink Malta India every day if I could. Not sure what those are? Go there and try them!
I usually wouldn't call PR food "healthy", but hear me out - most dishes here are prepared with a few fresh staple ingredients, so not much is processed like a deli meat subs or fast food. We have a son who's allergic to gluten, dairy, eggs, and soy, and most restaurants don't have an option for him. Boricana has plenty, so this is great if you've got some dietary limitations.
One thing I would change? It'd be nice to have some mid-range options, like in the $8-$12 range (I usually don't want to spend the full amount for the roast pork or stew meal). Also, it'd be nice if the hours stretched closer to dinner, but it's hard to capture the dinner crowd in...
