After many years of searching for my G - G granddad who died in War Between the States, I finally received positive results after help from both North Carolina and the State of New York. Our visit was exceptional, very rewarding and the guy on duty could not have been nicer or more helpful. Grampa was buried under his brother's name. Both had been prisoners there. They get the most people to visit the cemetery in who knows how many years, and what do they do? They take out the reason the people were going there. Pokemon Go has been the biggest draw in for the cemetery, but because they did not want people in the cemetery walking around or just taking in the scenery while playing a game on their phone they remove EVERYTHING to do with the game. Shame on you Woodlawn! Elmira feels the same...
