I was super excited to try this place out and after spending $32 on 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 morning rolls, I was highly disappointed. The croissant is dry and has no fluff, the egg is over cooked, the ham was hard as a rock. However, I did enjoy the cheese they used. I thought maybe the morning bun would be better, but I was met with a hard, stale baked good leaving me very unsatisfied. This is a terrible waste of money. The only good thing was at least it wasn't artificial DD crap. I'll stick with Honeydukes!!
Edit: Apparently the owner feels this is a false review because I feel his food is crap. Shows what kind of owner they are and something to consider if choosing this restaurant. I prefer when a business takes the info and provides a better product or service rather than tell the customer they are "telling stories". I won't be supporting your small business on your response alone... and I typically give a business a second try knowing we all...
Read moreFood is good but overpriced. Coffee quality is very good but is prepared incorrectly and often comes out subpar. I’m not sure why but the past few times I’ve been in the service has been very slow.
Reply - Some of the breakfast items felt too pricey. To be clear, the quality is very good, and I can understand the cost being a bit more because of that. But I bought two breakfast sandwiches the other day, and it cost $23, which seemed too costly. The cost to add avocado was also twice as much as I've seen it be anywhere before. I'm sure a major factor is the absurd inflation that has occurred over the past few years, but even when comparing to other local businesses, it stood out to me as costing more than I'm used to paying. Thank you for your attention...
Read moreWent here for Saturday breakfast. The staff was friendly, and I liked the atmosphere of the place. Their coffee was very good. I ordered avocado toast and salmon toast—both were tasty, though I would have preferred the avocado spread with less citric acid, as it was quite sour. I also tried their croissants. The Nutella croissant seemed stale and I couldn’t finish it, but the pistachio croissant was fresh and delicious. Tip: ask when the croissants were made...
