Well that's a first for me. My husband and I were thrown out and told by 2 men (assume they are owners and managers that we are not welcomed in the bar. First stated we skipped out on paying tabs for food and soft drinks, my husband smoking ecigs at the door and because he had his pants down and was blowing his nose leaving tissues everywhere and his oxygen tank being dragged all over. My husband has fought the battle of his life this summer with lung cancer, has dementia now because of the 3 months of radiation and chemotherapy so he isn't the same person. Obviously they are not sensitive to patrons with disabilities, with physical challenges or trying to enforce a handicap parking space, the only one in that lot!!! My husband was so incredibly happy that we found a bar that showed the game close to home. We were going all the way to a bar on Watkins Glen, Bleachers that was just as good but distance wise this suit our needs with his oxygen dependency close to home. He first accused my brother of not paying a bill for food and drink last week, not knowing that it was his own staff who didn't communicate the charges. My brother paid cash and included my husband's fries and soft drink in the bill. Then he proceeds to accuse me of not paying last year at the end of the season!!! The waitress staff in there are so overwhelmed when I didn't get my check when the Pittsburgh game we were watching was over I paid at the bar, like I do on many occassions. Anyone who frequents that bar knows that they are so busy and often times you have to get the attention of the bar staff to get refills on drinks or getting your check. I have paid at least three times last year that way, at the bar!!! But finally he mentions that my husband was disgusting as he was blowing his nose and leaving the tissues at the table and that his pants were coming off, hanging down. My brother is visiting and did me a favor taking my husband to his "favorite" bar and isn't that familiar with people with dementia but did he mention that to my brother, did he tell my husband about his appearance. He has dementia!!!! Well, I am sorry, I have lived in this town for 16 years and never have been ashamed at a business owner in my life. He also needs some education in handicapped parking laws as well as some sensitivity training when it comes to people with disabilities or mentally challenged patrons! You don't want my business, he said; Well I am ashamed I had ever given you my...
Read moreFirst of all we chose this place because it clearly states its a "Sports Bar" w/25 this. This clearly was a place we wanted to be to watch the playoffs and celebrate a birthday. There were 6 of us and we were trying to have fun... seeings how we were clearly in a Sports Bar we weren't thinking about watching out language and voice volume. Haha clearly that's not allowed by non- regulars..I was approached by the owner and told to calm down oh yes just me about of the 6 of us.. he said to me "This is a family restaurant " !!! Well let me tell you. It isn't a family restaurant. You are clearly a Sports bar that serves food. One of our friends left because he said he refused to give money to a place where you can't be yourself. I kinda just let it go..well about 30 minutes later. These 3 guys came in and were right by our group. These guys were allowed to be loud and curse.. nothing.!!! I mean absolutely nothing was said to them!!! Actually the bartenders were raising hell with them. The owner wasn't that far away that he couldn't see and hear what was going on. The bartenders that were on when we first got there very friendly and attentive. The night bartenders were ok..just not very attentive. I was very surprised that they were allowed to drink behind the bar. It was a very long time since I had been there..and yes it will be a long time before I go back.. Please if you are going to identify as a Sports bar in your ad's don't confuse customers with the "It's a family restaurant " good...
Read moreFrom out of town, had a couple hours to kill. Stopped at "the other" sports bar about 2 miles down the road where the wings were great but the crowd was not fun or friendly. Ate, left and drove to Roundin' Third. First guy I asked about parking was super friendly and helpful. Walked in to a lively, boisterous, energetic crowd cheering on the Bengals or KC in the AFC playoffs, with many regaled in their favorite NFL team attire. Bellied up to the only open spot at the bar, a guy slides over and waves me in joking about my Buffalo Bills attire, pointing "Buffalo is that way" with a chuckle. The guys on the other side turned and smiled and said hello. No less than 25 televisions at all angles and all sizes surround the bar. Not a bad seat in the house. And this really cool idea to put another row of benches for seating 'not at a table' is really cool. I didn't eat so can't comment on the food Let's just say I wish I...
