Rooster's Cafe — Restaurant in City of Lackawanna

I assume the man we encounted was the owner. And that man was SO rude. As a resturant worker myself, this was completely unacceptable and unexpected. When asking if the establishment was cash only, the man went on a rant on how he should make it, and he encounters so many fees due to accepting credit, and it should be us that pay the fee..not him. He definitely made us feel as though he did not want our business. Food was fine, his service was ok.but no one would accuse him of being friendly. My partner spilled her glass of water when standing to leave.. I asked for a towel to help clean it up. Like I said, 14 years of resturant service here. It happens, but I wanted to help as much as possible. I used the rag (which were the couple time use, thin industrial cloth paper towels) to pick the ice up off the floor. The man then started yelling at me, infront of his other customers on how he could no longer use the towel again, and "what a mop" is. Wow. Nice attitude Sir. The rooster Decor is everywhere well to table that carries off into the bathroom! It's awesome. It's a unique dining experience. Has a quiet cozy atmosphere but also could take the bustle of the day. Great quick food including breakfast as well as comfort food. Wish I would have found this gem a little bit sooner! Can't wait to return and try something else on the menu. My fiance and brother brought me here this morning for Mother's day breakfast and I loved it! Family owned and operated, very nice people, it's clean and great service! My brother out there f the 3 of us came here 1st back in July with my daughters and my son when I was in mercy hospital recovering from a stroke and he insisted on coming back, really great place, my fiance and I will definitely be making this out go-to place to eat!!!
