Park Avenue Coat Company — Local services in City of Lackawanna

Good selection of coats/clothes/accessories and all for good prices, but the customer service is awful. They had workers following my bf and his father around the store the whole time they were in there as if they were about to steal things. I went in the next day with my bf and his little sister and again, they had two male workers following my bf around everywhere he went. One male worker that was in the front of the store followed my bf all the way to the warehouse part of the store and then back. Mind you, we were not doing anything out of the ordinary. There was atleast 10 other customers in the store at the time and they didn't follow not one of them around, just us......Between the three of us we spent over $100 in there even after we were hawked by these employees. I think they need to be a little less obvious with their methods so they dont make people feel uncomfortable. Would not go back again purely bc of our...

Had a good experience last year so I figured I would go back this year with the same results, but I was WRONG!!!!!! I found a coat for my son with a random tag on the bottom that was stapled on with 4 thick staples I brought it upfront to see if something was wrong with it because my son liked it. The man pops out the giant staples and says no. Except now there are holes in the coat so I ask if they can take anything off. The other gentlemen snuffs and says no. Seriously? You just ripped holes in the coat from staples and couldnt even take a couple dollars off as a decent gesture. Which was besides the point my son wanted the coat and there were only two that were of decent quality in his size. Terrible customer service though! I think I'll have to suck it up and just go to the Galleria location next time maybe they'll have more decent...

Park Avenue Coat Company is probably the best "seconds" clothing store, consistently, that I shop at. I go there almost everytime I go to Buffalo.

The store I frequent is the large warehouse store on Route 5. They have great variety of size, kind, color and type of apparel. They generally have the best price between the Williams Street and Galleria Mall locations.

This is changing somewhat as prices have really been going up. They still have the dollar T shirt bins and i just bought 6 shirts ranging from 2XL to 5 XL with two NFL shirts and a Golden State Warriors and Dallas Cowboys T in great shape.
