Our favorite breakfast place was closed due to the Taste of Lockport, so we decided to try this place since it was close by and had high ratings. Maybe we came on an off day, but we still won't be back.
I opted for the apple cinnamon pancakes. The apples were mushy, the pancakes were mostly raw in the middle, and the parts that were cooked tasted terrible. My husband's corned beef hash can best be described as gelatinous, and that's being kind. Our toddler son, who loves pancakes, wouldn't eat his and actually scrapped them off his tongue because he disliked them so much. We asked for his bacon to be extra crispy, but it was flaccid. We were never given refills either.
The only positive was that the food arrived quickly. Shame it was all terrible. We only ate what we did because we were starving by that point, but I honestly would have been happier to be starving. You can get a better breakfast for the same price or cheaper at any...

Read moreI love this breakfast place. The food is good, comes out fast and won't break the bank. They do a great biscuits and gravy, great pancakes, excellent French toast and who doesn't love eggs cooked to order and bacon. Good portions. Wait staff is always friendly and comes to know your face after a couple visits. The coffee comes out right away and your cup is unlikely to become empty. It's a bit of a hidden gem in Lockport. If I had to say anything negative, it needs a bit of a style update, but what's there is fine if you like a good American...
