La Port's Pine Restaurant — Restaurant in City of Lockport

this was the worst experience ive ever had at any restaurant, i was getting ready to go into work and had a few minutes so decided to stop for a bagel i asked for a well toasted bagel with butter and cream cheese on the side, i sat to wait and 5 minutes later the waitress was able to cash me out i was charged 172 and i gave her 2 and said i didnt need the change, i realized i was now to late to stop for coffee asked the waitress to also throw in 5-6 creams so i could get coffee at work, she said ok and walked away and i sat back down to wait, she came back 3 minutes later and said her boss said she had to charge me for the creams? said it was an extra dollar, irritated i pulled out another dollar and she said my total was now 3.40? um, thats more than id pay for a small coffee and bagel at tim hortons! still i pulled out the extra as she went to bag my food, a total of 13 minutes since i came in before she was cashing me out and when i opened the bag i had 3 creams??? thats not even enough for one cup of coffee!!! i asked for 5 or 6! wtf? the bagel was SOAKED in better, pools of it were collecting on the tinfoil, and it was dripping off both sides of the 2 halves. so much for the 5 butters they put on the side! why would i even need them now? all i wanted now was a napkin to soak up some of the greasy mess! to top it off it wasn't well toasted or even toasted, it was warm and chewy, eww. all in all i was insulted, over-charged, made late for work, not given all what i ordered and what the did give me wasn't done right, i will never recommend this place to anyone ever again. and they will certainly never see my...

I am giving only one star because of their horrible treatment that I faced today. I placed an order by phone and was told the food would be ready in 45 minutes. When I arrived at the restaurant, inside was packed, there were people on the line. So understandibly my order wasn’t ready yet. I went to one of their waitress to ask if it is ready and this is where all started.

She checked the order first and said “it is not ready yet but I can check you out.” I said “of course.” By the way, she was rushing and I was okay with it since they were so busy. But while I was checking out, I asked to add a coffee to my order. While already in front of the register, she reacted with a huge “huff and puff” and angrily stabbed at the register and asked me the size. I responded and started looking for the correct change. She huffed and puffed again and grabbed the money OUT of my hand. Finally everything was over and I was about to give the way for the customer behind me and I noticed the same waitress angrily waving her hand to the side, gesturing me to move. I was keeping my cool and still being kind, I didn’t make a scene and moved aside but watched her and she didn’t treat the other customers like that attitude at all!

So in this restaurant, EITHER your personnel don’t respect the customers unless they are regulars, OR they do not like “foreigns” OR they are incapable of doing stress management.

If you are on the heavier side, do not dine in. That's why I ended up ordering take out. Over the phone they did not tell me that they were a cash only place, forcing me to use the ATM they had available. The bacon was very thin and hard to the point the 2 slices were stuck together. It was like eating a potato chip. The scrambled eggs were watery. The sausage patties were terrible and cardboard thin. The pancakes were small and reminded me of McDonald's hot cakes. The French toast was terrible. It tastes like they dipped it in a watery egg mix and threw it on a griddle.
