Lockport Public Library — Attraction in City of Lockport

Staff was extremely helpful. I got my new library card along with information on the library services and building layout. I need to print a form, that was on the third floor as staff directed me and it was easy to log on to print. I forgot change or cash, used to using my debit card. I felt frustrated and thought I'd have to log back in to resend it after going for change but staff again, excellent, let me know it would stay in the queue for 48 hours. I could go home, grab the change I needed and come back. It was easy, and my printing was in the queue as she said it would be. Clean, well organized with clear signage to help you find your way around. Lovely architecture. I'm looking forward to exploring the books and library...

I visited the library today because my printer ran out of ink and office max closed. Regardless I'm going to fill the cartridges with a refill kit and save tons of money. Incidentally the price per/pg at the library is only .15 cents. In addition I signed up to volunteer at the 'Fabulous Fall Used Book' sale which is on Thursday the 16th for 'friends' and Friday 9-4 and Saturday 10 -4. I was overdue on my books due to my son being ill and in the hospital. I called the library and explained and even though some of my books were overdue and some were on reserve, they were kind, empathetic and gracious to me and extended the due date.
