Jody’s Deli and Bagel is hands down one of my favorite spots! From the moment I walk in until I leave, the service is top-notch—so welcoming and attentive. I love that they’re Puerto Rican and bring that warm, loving energy to everything they do. My go-to dish is the white rice with steak and onions, paired with their flavorful beans. The portions are generous—perfect for sharing between two people. It’s not the cheapest, but the quality and taste are well worth it. Plus, there’s always parking, which is a huge bonus! The split pea soup was just water with green color. No peas, no thickness to it the soup, no ham and no bacon. I did call the store and offered my constructive criticism. The soup did have a nice smoky flavor but it was pureed and strained so much it offered nothing. It had more a broth consistency instead of soup.
