Honest review. The storefront is beautiful, and the decor inside is cute and inviting. I was greeted by a young lady there. Very nice. I asked her what was good. She gave me a run down. Mentioned carrot cake, red velvet, strawberry cheesecake, strawberry shortcake, and a few others . So I ordered the first four she recommended and added in some white chocolate macadamia cookies. I loved that the cupcakes were moist. The best tasting ones to me were red velvet and carrot cake. The frosting for those two was good. I love a good cream cheese frosting, they didnt disappoint. However, i noticed the flavors for strawberry short cake and strawberry cheese fell flat. It was just okay. They didn't taste like their names. I think what could help is tweaking the batter a little more to get better flavor, something maybe buttery? The icing wasn't that great either: I'd recommend tweaking the flavors with those as well. More richness and creaminess could help elevate the flavors. The macadamia cookies, unfortunately, were not good either. Tasted store bought. I'd suggest changing the batter for those as well. It didn't have that homemade taste and touch you'd expect from a bakery. For 4 cupcakes, and I believe 2/3 macadamia cookies came to $21 or so. Not bad!
Went back another day to try the oreo cookie cupcake, and that also fell flat in terms of flavor and originality. Overall, this bakery is worth trying. The store is super cute and inviting, and the staff is helpful, but the cupcakes and cookies lack a je ne sais quoi. Something original and authentic could really take the flavors up a notch. She just opened, so I'd give it time to improve and get better with the recipes. I would definitely go back for the carrot...
Read moreI've ordered from this bakery numerous occasions and was always satisfied with the baked goods, especially the cupcakes. So much so, that I don't mind the added fees attached to having them Uber'ed over to highlight a students birthday. I ordered the two cupcake minimum and waited for delivery. I received a call that one of the cupcakes I ordered from the available menu wasn't available that day. Ok..no problem. Requested a replacement flavor, was told ok and ended the call. A little later, I happen to glance at my phone and noticed a notification that my order was canceled. Confused, I called them back on the number they called me from and found that it routed me to an Uber Eats customer service line that suggested I call the store directly. I googled and called and was told that indeed they DID cancel my order because they could not edit it on their end to replace the cupcakes. But if you could CALL me to say you were out of a specific cupcake, why couldn't I be CALLED and asked to reorder! I was just CANCELLED. Thank goodness, I happened to check my phone. Poor kid would have been waiting for a cupcake that wasn't gonna show up. They told me to place another order but I'd rather not. I was WILLING to pay a ridiculous amount of money for two cupcakes, the least you could do is have better customer service attached...
Read moreI have driven by this place before and was curious to try it out because the store looked so cute and appealing and I drove by yesterday and decided to go in. The store was well decorated and all the baked treats looked nice. Maybe I should’ve asked what’s good, or maybe it’s because I came in 1 hour before closing but i was a bit disappointed in the taste of the cupcakes. I got 2 cupcakes 1 chocolate and 1 cinnamon roll. The chocolate one had a taste as if it was just sitting out in a fridge all day/store bought taste. The cinnamon roll cupcake was much better and was moist and flavorful. However, did not live up to as good as I thought it would’ve been. If I go again I’ll make sure to get recommendations on what to try since most reviews say that the treats...
