Great Wall Chinese Food — Restaurant in City of Mount Vernon

I ordered from this place a few times and I would always have to ask for my eating utensils in order to get them. The food is okay but shouldn’t take as long as it does (sometimes about an hour, even on a weekday and not even during usually busy hours...) to get delivered and the customer service, especially from the lady who answers my calls isn’t up to par. I’ve gotten orders wrong and when I tried to get the right order back, I was given a hard time. The lady who took my order has even gone as far as asking me to return the wings that they messed up for new ones with the right condiments on them, after suggesting that I just deal with it, regardless of any medical condition I may have or whatever the case may be. I am never ordering...

I'm giving them a 1 star rating. The reason for that is simply because a friend told me that their food was good so I tried it out. I placed a order for shrimp and broccoli with shrimp fried rice and I asked that my broccoli was VERY VERY SOFT PLEASE. Got my food the broccoli was hard. I called wasn't loud or rude and said what I ordered and the broccoli is hard. She didn't say nothing but ok so I said ok is anything like next maybe 10% off or something. She told me no and to put it in the microwave! I asked her was she serious that somebody referred me and I would never order again. I wasn't asking for more food or my money back I asked for no more then a $2.00 discount. She proceeded to say no and I told her that their customer service...

It doesn't take credit cards and only stays open till 11, not 1130

I never found a Chinese restaurant that didn't accept cards. Their ATM wasn't working on top of that. I had to drive to the gas station in the rain to get money for the food

Refuse to give me a discount for my trouble

Also, they closed at 11 pm instead of 1130pm. I only went there because I assumed it was going to be open later than the rest

Their food is ok to not great their boneless bbq ribs were too tough

"Pick a different Chinese restaurant if you can help it don't come here"

Won't be going back, mainly because not taking credit...
