Jade Spoon — Restaurant in City of New Rochelle

As a field technician, my work places me in many affluent neighborhoods. I am a connoisseur of chinese take out and like to sample the offerings near the places I work. That said - I am happy to say that Jade Spoon is among the best I have been to based on the following criteria.

I establish value based on quality of food, selection and price vs portions and am happy to say the quality is top notch, the selection while not as broad as other establishments (more on this later) is more than up to the task of feeding you and lastly, the price is what I would expect for Scarsdale but is not overly expensive and the portions you get warrant the few extra dollars. The service is always with a smile and the food is served promptly.

More about the portions - I find the portions are very generous IF you eat in. Take out portions are not as ample - limited perhaps by the size of their containers. Trick with eating in is that the seating is limited as it is primarily a take out restaurant. You may be out of luck at lunch time because my high opinion of their food is shared by other tradesmen who seem to flock here for lunch as well.

My colleagues now share my high praise for Jade Spoon as they always comment that if they are working in the Scarsdale area - they smile and exclaim "Jade Spoon!" emphatically looking ahead to a nice lunch experience.

AS previously stated, there is a nice selection of food and everything is cooked fresh and is delicious. They may not have the conventional Chinese take out menu items commonly found at run of the mill take out places but that stuff isn't authentic chinese food anyway people.

I eat here and take out regularly... THE BEST! Clean. Delicious. Fresh. Tasty. We are NEVER disappointed with this excellent food at the Bronxville Jade Spoon and I can tell you it is a MOST welcome addition to the neighborhood... The menu features all of the classic American Chinese foods we all have grown up with but the owners bring their years of experience to bear and their roots in Malaysia and Hong Kong are evident with curry and noodle dishes and creative dim sum... The wonton soup is absolutely delicious and flavorful, the Sesame and General Tso Chicken are exceptional, the spring and egg rolls so fresh, and the Malaysian curries and noodles are out of this world! Omg omg one of the best American Chinese I have ever had from the few items I have tried and their fried rice was delicious but the bbq ribs was just the one that did it for me it was on point fresh off the grill lots of flavor will blow your mind I won’t mind driving 30 mins for this if it will taste as good as the first time if you live around this area and not getting Chinese food from here. Then you are wasting your time and missing out on some very delicious and flavorful food literally the best I have ever had I don’t think anything an beat this hands down you should stop reading and head over there now can’t wait...
