We've been Verizon customers for at least two decades and I have to say that doing business with the people working at the Verizon retail store on Weaver Street in Scarsdale, New York, has been the best retail experience we've ever had. I had been having trouble with the performance of my cell phone, not receiving calls, texts not sending, and Mac was immediately helpful in suggesting remedies although we both decided that a five-year-old device was probably not going to be working in optimal conditions so I agreed to consider a new phone. Kevin, and Mac, explained that I could trade in my device at no charge, other than the taxes. I was quite surprised and confirmed with them several times that what they were saying is that I can have a new device with no additional money out of pocket, and they assured me that that was the case. So very happily I upgraded to a new device and a bonus of a Tablet, also at no cost to me other than the taxes. While waiting just a few days for the phone to arrive, we went back to the store another day to discuss changing our house Internet service and single landline phone over to FiOS. That day we worked with Mac and Augustine. They were clear in their description of what the benefits of changing to FiOS would be especially since we have so many connectivity issues with our current provider. They spent an extraordinary amount of time with us explaining all of the options and the benefits and the promotions and we left that day with an appointment for installation. Today I went back to the store to pick up my device and do the data transfer and they were extraordinarily patient once again with my concerns about smooth transfer. For anything that didn't automatically transfer, Kevin found a workaround. Again, they were exceptional in terms of time spent with me. Kevin had all of the technical aspects handled and solved, including calling Verizon when necessary. Augustine was a wizard at solving any of the many IT questions I had, such as setting up the keyboard I preferred, when it was not apparent to me how to do so. I've had many Verizon retail experiences and they were often fraught with frustrations at wait times and uncertainty if I was getting products and services that were best suited to me. I had no such reservations with my experience at the Weaver Street Verizon store. There I found the Consultants to be knowledgeable and patient, sharing their suggestions and expertise with us while listening to our needs and meeting those needs and concerns. Kudos to the Team. We appreciate our experience there and will certainly be passing that word around to anyone we know who is interested in Verizon products and services....
