1818 Bar & Grill — Restaurant in City of North Tonawanda

I was super excited to try this place with all the good reviews and a large menu of options! It turned out to be the worst dining experience of my life.... We went for restaurant week. There were 2 waitresses and about 5 tables which didn't seem to be too much but right off the bat we were told they are super busy so just be aware. We were fine with that as a friend and I got together to catch up. But.... 45 minutes in and we still didn't get our bottle of wine. I politely went up to the bar and said I know you're busy but I thought it would be easier if I came up to get it and shortly after they brought it over. I asked how the banana pepper bombers were and the waitress said they are her favorite and everyone loves them so we ordered it. She rang it out as the banana pepper dip by mistake. She tried to convince us "the dip is basically what is inside the bombers" but we still wanted the appetizer we actually ordered so she put them in for us. I ordered the soup which was cold and my friend ordered a salad with ranch. She poured the ranch on it and then noticed the salad already had an Italian type dressing on it- she didn't bother to say anything. We both ordered the surf and turf and were told we couldn't order the steaks medium just medium well- which ended up being well done in the end! The dinner came out without the shrimp which they left to overcook in the oven so they had to remake them. To top it all off we had people at 2 different tables make rude comments to us throughout the meal! I would never recommend this restaurant or give it...

So glad to have a restaurant back at the course. North Tonawanda, for gods sake take care of these business owners! Place looks great and food was delicious! Spoke to one of the owners as she waited on our table. Super energetic and personable. Had a black bean burger and ordered a giant tray of fries. Easy to get poor fries, and black bean burgers can be hit or miss. My food was top notch! Would reorder the same thing again. Love the beer menu on the black board painted door, the additional tv's, the cleaned up bathrooms, the At the Turn Menu. I hope you knock it out...

My family hosted a lunch at 1818 Bar and Grill after my father’s funeral. We used their private room which was perfect for the occasion. They have so many food choices. We selected items from the Greek Mediterranean menu and added some other salads. Everything was prepared and displayed beautifully! And It all tasted great! Many guests commented on how much they enjoyed the food. Delilah, the owner, was wonderful to work with. We would definitely recommend 1818...
