Bar service was good. Food was overpriced and not worth the rave. The house made chips were really good. The onion rings were good. The burger wasn't good. I ordered medium rare, although I expected to receive well done as most places disregard what the customer wants when ordering burgers and only serve well done. I got medium well. So just slightly better than expected on the doneness. Anyway, not only was burger overdone, but it had an odd taste. Hard to explain. I don't think it was bad meat. Maybe low grade, but should still taste good. It wasn't the seasoning, but perhaps a lack of. Either way the burger didn't taste like beef to me and definitely not good. I also added bacon to burger. Got one strip of bacon broken in half. Seriously. Didn't even realize it was there taste-wise. For the price and all of the rave I expected a top of the line burger, but received less than mediocrity. I don't know, maybe I picked the wrong day or time...
