Before I make my review, 1st & foremost I want to give a huge shout-out to our waiter ... This review has absolutely nothin' to do w/ her ...

But to the owners of this establishment: You guys need to be a little more mindful of the customers you allow into your place of business ... First of all, a customer shouldn't be allowed to rudely interrupt your servers if they're takin' orders from other customers ... & 2, I don't care what race or color you are, there should be absolutely NO ONE to enter your place of business & feel free to discriminate anyone under NO circumstances!!!! I couldn't even enjoy my food because of it!!!

After what I experienced today, I will NOT be returnin' there anymore - that alone told me all I needed to know about the whole atmosphere in that place & I'm a firm believer of avoidin' all problems at all cause ... So on that note, thank you again for ruinin' my appetite & my...

I use to love to eat here a couple of years ago but I certainly was disappointed this passed Monday 6/5/23. The waitress never took my order or my 89 year old mother. The waitresses were busy filling people’s coffee cups, conversing with others. One waitress was behind the counter eating her lunch and not once looked our way. I felt these waitresses were deliberately ignoring us, for whatever reason I do not know. Racists I believe. Well we will never ever go to The Golden Fox again. It’s a shame how things change for the worst. I’ll just go to Parkside Restaurant which the people are friendly and treat their customers like they would want to be treated. I haven't eaten here in a few years and was surprised at the fast service. The 2 people with me were reluctant to eat there due to negative experiences of long wait times for their orders and disappointment with the food. However, the hostess and waitress were pleasant and served us right away. I had pancakes and link sausages. The pancakes were not hot, a bit flat, probably covered in a warmer and sweating. The coffee wasn't hot either and certainly not fresh, so I only drank half. A fresh cup of coffee could have offset the food. Perhaps if we had come earlier than 10:45, the food might have been fresh from the grill & received 4 stars. You see, when I cook, I want my guests to enjoy every bite and then rave about how delcious it was. I would want them to keep coming back. Perhaps it was one of the "off" days......
