Hooked Fish Market — Restaurant in City of Rochester

Omg- every time I visit the town I miss the specials and be confused on what to order . This time I happened to catch the chef in the front of the store . Him and roc took great care of me and my husband , my mom and her friends.

My 1st trip I ended up getting about 6 meals by mistake cuz everything was delicious!!

I returned about 5 days of my 6 day visit .

Fresh fish and hand crafted sides - dirty rice - baked beans - Mac and cheese.

The sides are enough on their own but fresh fried fish too🥰.

Each day it was something different , octopus- salmon fries - salmon bites - shrimp and grits like I’ve never ever had !!

Trust me it’s something on this menu for EVERY palate.

Home made cake - like who the heck makes butter pecan cake !!!!

Customer service literally A-1 , black owned and operated makes a huge difference but besides that the food is actually amazing and fair priced .

I have waited my entire life for a fish Market with cooked fish dinners of such high quality and freshness. There’s no need to go anywhere else in Rochester. The Owner emits pride and respect into his service and the food is infused with quality. They offer great portions and turned up the heat on the competition by offering more for your money. My fish dinner came with 3 sides and I mean that made all the difference. They serve the customer what the customer wants to eat, not like the other places that serve whatever comes from behind the counter. Parking is a true hassle and the only thing someone could legitimately have an issue with. My only problem is I don’t live next door cause I’d eat their food faithfully. The fact that this business stands behind and contributes to the community is enough on its own to support this business. The food is a bonus. Great Job!.., looking forward to an east...

BONES IN FISH DINNERS Went And Ordered Two Dinners One Being A Catfish Dinner And The Other Haddock With A Side Of Mac And Cheese As Well As Baked Beans. The Sides Were Pretty Good Including The Mac Salad And Coleslaw. My Total Was About 55 For The Dinners. Upon Eating My Haddock Within My First Bite There Was 4 Bones I Found Overall Making Me Stop Eating The Fish Due To Almost Swallowing Them And Not Expecting It To Contain Bones. Seeing As Though I Don’t Eat Fish Much I Called The Restaurant To Confirm If The Fish Was Supposed To Contain Bones And Informing Them Of The Bones In Mine. Their Response Was “ No, But That Has Nothing To Do With Us Whoever We Buy Our Fish From Must Not Have Did The Filet Correctly “ Then Proceeded To Hang Up The Phone On Me. I Would NOT Recommend.
