Arrived to a busy bar and loud, dead dining room. I asked for a booth and she set us at an uncomfortable table with too long wooden seats. The waitress Danelle was very attentive. We asked her if her area included booths she said yes and then we asked to be moved to a booth. Unfortunately it wasn't one of her booths?!? Danielle was nice enough to move our drinks to the not her table. We gave her a 3 spot for the assist. Now we have a not so attentive waitress "Mama BC". The wife had the pulled pork; she said it was very good and I had the ribs which were very tender. The ribs were slathered with their signature BBQ sauce, very sweet with progressive heat! (the more you ate, the hotter it got) I like sweet but not alot of heat, I was unable to eat my last rib. My meal included cole slaw, corn bread, and sweet potato steak fries. I asked for no coleslaw and extra fries. I received coleslaw, extra too well done fries, and too dry cornbread, both were unedible. We had to ask Danielle to find our waitress so we could get a drink refill. For dessert the wife had chocolate cheese cake and I had carrot cake. The carrot cake was drizzled with caramel?!? Was almost too sweet to eat.

On March 20th the family and I decided to make a reservation for today, Easter. Our reservation was made for 12pm. Party of 11. It took almost 20 min for us to be greeted. However, drinks and two appetizers came 15 min later. After chatting and two drinks of mimosas later we realized it was 1:40pm and still have not received our entrees. After asking multiple servers for assistance around 1:55pm, 8:11 of us received our meals. However, 3 of the meals needed to be sent back due to being very cold. We never received the other 3 meals. After voicing our concerns to our waitress we ended up with a free Easter meal. Our table consisted of 4 seniors and a toddler. Everyone knows how important it is for these age groups to eat and at a specific time. (Pictures are posted for the presentation) Hose 22 not sure what happened today but today was definitely a bunny FLOP! We still tipped our waitress because we know how the industry works. It was not her fault. Our Easter was definitely ruined a bit. Take this as lesson learned, always prepare for a holiday. Something definitely went wrong! Get it together

I'm not sure how to rate this place as it has good and not so good points. I absolutely love the outside and inside of the building. the wood ceiling and decorations are beautiful. It was pretty cold inside and i as well as other diners were wearing jackets at the table. This place is pricey! Over $70 for just 2 of us - no alcohol. The potato skin appetizer came out almost cold. We ate a bit then had it boxed up. Some lettuce on the bottom of my salad was rotten. not a lot but enough to notice. It was still tasty - the unrotten parts. My $28 scallops weren't seared well; they just tasted like butter. The sweet potato fries are fantastic and so are their dinner rolls. Mixed feelings about this place but I'd be willing to go again but maybe to try the pizza and fried pickles which seem to be fan favorites! I would recommend trying it at least once if for nothing but the really cool atmosphere.

This restaurant is very cool. The interior design is unique and a vision come to life! The are firefighters tools on the walls and boots on the floor. It feels like community in here. Our server was very nice and attentive. This is a great place to bring family for dinner or to stop in later and grab a drink. My favorite thing was the elote dip appetizer, I would like to bottle it and drink it! The menu options are modern, regular Rochester fare and some unexpected items as well. I gave a 4 star because the rice that came with my salmon tasted like uncle Ben's instant rice with no seasoning, the vegetables were cut cool and modern but again lack luster. The salmon was well cooked and flavorful. Overall it was a good restaurant and based on the reviews I'll be back to try the fish fry.

Busy upon arrival, primetime on a Friday, however was able to be seated immediately. Menu was extensive, offering a varied array of dishes. Being Friday in Rochester, a fish fry was to be had. The other entree we had was their grilled special of the evening, a swordfish steak. Everything was fantastic. Our server was particularly detailed oriented. He had noticed I put my leftover squeezed lemons in my soda, so when he brought a refill, he added a fresh lemon wedge for me. Details are everything. The food and ambiance of the old firehouse was impeccable. Everything was thoroughly enjoyed. A return trip is a must to try the other items that looked and sounded great. Lots of beers and drinks to choose from. Highly recommended.

This unique restored 1916 Firehouse is the best example of a converted fire station turned restaurant we’ve been to thus far, and I’ve been to several. The food was really amazing too. We started with the nachos and had their jalapeño popper dip added and let me tell you….those nachos were incredible! Huge portion, we ended up filling up on those and didn’t have room for our entrees. Good news is that even leftover the entrees were excellent. My husband devoured the White Florentine pizza and the stuffed mushrooms were good too. I will caution that the garlic mashed potatoes are super garlicky. Service was great. Pricing is a little on the high side; be prepared to spend at least $20 for an entree, even if it’s Mac n cheese.
