Menezes Pizza — Restaurant in City of Rochester

It was hazardously hot inside! The single door leads straight to the kitchen (protect synthetic hair if you have any walking into this door because hell only has a few degrees on it). Surviving and going in through the double doors I was yelled at by the cashier as if I broke into their...not even going to say it. I lost the opportunity of a life time as the kids in front of me asked if I wanted to go first as I was only getting one item. Long story short and 40mins later when I got to order I was delusional and dehydrated. Didn't even take a bite of the sandwich which is part of the reason I have it a second star.

Now I understand good help is hard to find (cashier was non stop socializing instead of taking orders with a line legitimately out the door) and good ventilation and air-conditioning is expensive. Nothing was crazy or extremely abnormal. The experience although not all at fault for was a negative two stars. It's hilarious reading reviews of this place. I'm only here because I kept seeing R pizza on Uber Eats, and I'm like, what is that. Looked and saw the address - oh it's Menezes. So I googled to see if it's still Menezes. It says so here on this page, but is it? I haven't ordered from here in years. The reason is because 1) they have the worst customer service on the planet; 2) they always screw up orders, and by that I mean half the time you won't receive your order at all, and they won't even apologize or give a refund; 3) their food is terrible. It's not even fit for animal consumption, let alone humans. Their pizza in particular is some of the worst I've ever tried. I've been ordering from them since I was a teen in the early 90s. Gave it ONE star because that's the lowest I can go. This has got to be the worst place ever for food and/or service! Ordered 3 calzones and 2 regular slices. The calzone dough was raw, no ricotta cheese (only mozzarella, tomato sauce inside the calzone even tho I told them NO SAUCE, except for the pepperoni calzone. I was told they use mozzarella and parmesan, I figured I'd give it a try. The just OVER sprinkle grated parmesan from a jar (the ones you get a grocery store. AFTER my calzones were packed up, the pizza maker started to roll out the dough to make the pizza for my 2 slices. I just cancelled the slices. I waited 37 minutes for an order that I was told would take about 15. When I questioned the length of time, I was told the pizza maker is 50 yrs old so he is a little slow.
