Italian Sizzle Shack — Restaurant in City of Sherrill

I am so happy I found this place! The family that owns it is soooo nice which makes me and my family want to support them as much as we can. I have started buying all my meat there and run in to get things like milk, eggs, coffee cream, etc also because it’s so much easier than going into the grocery store. If they don’t have any steaks cut they will go in the back and cut them exactly how we like them right then.

I must also mention their Sunday breakfast/brunch buffet. It’s our favorite place to go to after church. They have a huge selection, there’s no way you could even try all of it. I have been telling everyone about it lol. Who doesn’t love a breakfast buffet? The owners usually come out to the dining room to chat and visit with customers which is a nice personal touch and makes everyone feel welcome.

My husband and I went to their Valentine dinner and had a great time. The atmosphere was casual which my husband loved and the food was wonderful. They also timed it perfectly so we didn’t feel rushed, we really enjoyed our evening. They even gave us a bottle of wine!

Absolutely ridiculous place. They took over Joe’s Jerky and then continued to sell the beloved jerky. Recently, they took away the jerky and treated me and my family terribly. We walked in; and all of the employees were sitting in dining room chairs staring at us. We couldn’t find the jerky and asked if they still carried it (which they still sold after the new owners). One of the ladies in the chairs then responded in an extremely snarky and demeaning tone “Nope, we don’t sell Joes Jerky because we are not Joes Jerky.” Now keep in mind that this is all after they established a very annoying and pushy ‘Jerky Points’ system to incentivize you to buy more jerky! We enjoyed an unforgettable dining experience from the Italian Sizzle Shack, and it was all about the incredible fish dinner! The fish was cooked to absolute perfection, and we were both blown away by the flavors. My husband's Walleye dinner was a hit, but I was particularly impressed by my Haddock dish. I'm usually not a big fish eater, but this was something special – so tender, flaky, and full of flavor that I couldn't get enough. The portion was generous, but I didn't feel overwhelmed, and every bite was pure delight. To top it off, we had ordered the meal for delivery, and it arrived right on time.
