Bad Apple Garage — Restaurant in City of Watertown

I worked here for a while and discovered how horrible things really are here. At first, it was slow and I noticed how gross the walls, baseboards, chairs and underneath the tables were and made it a regular thing to clean. I both garage doors that were covered in spider webs and spiders to accompany them. I ended up dropping a tray of food and was fired. I was told that there were other accusations against me, such as not doing side work when I did extra side work everyday, to the point I’d have to be told to stop and that I didn’t have to everything. I even made the owner aware that sauces weren’t being rotated, so customers were getting month old cups of blue cheese etc. the place was so loud it was hard to hear what customers needed half the time and I would have to yell back their order to make sure it was correct. The way I was fired was they just didn’t put me on the schedule. The owner(s) didn’t even have the guts, nor were they professional enough to call. The excuse was “it’s tax season”. Most the employees talked horribly of the boss, which I understand now. Funny that I was the one sticking up for her behind her back then rumors were started and I was fired. How ironic right? If you want to give your money to people like that, I suggest you go here. Where managers smoke bongs outback and when they get the littlest bit mad at something, like dropping a tray of food (something every server goes through) and the employee gets fired, or where food particles are built up everywhere, this is your place. Gloves aren’t even worn when the fruit is cut for drinks or prepare drinks with food in them like a Bloody Mary (and many of them have long fake nails).… yummy. Political signs everywhere making you feel unwelcome. Terrible service. Lemonade was basically water and the waitress KNEW it and served it to us anyway, then tried to defend it. Then we ordered Pepsi and it was the most flat soda I've ever attempted to drink in my life. The food was only so-so. Would never eat there again and I will actively discourage others from eating there as well.

Update: After posting this review I had an employee seek me out on Facebook and question me about my review AT LENGTH. She PMed me late at night and berated me about my review and demanded to know the name of my server (which is ironic because the server REFUSED to give us her name when we sat down - even though I asked her). She told us that "she doesn't tell customers her name" and that the restaurant does not make them say it. Ironically, her name was printed on the bill at the end. I refused to tell this woman the server's name. Apparently not only should you NOT eat at the Bad Apple Garage you will probably get harassed for speaking out...

Wow this place is COLD and Expensive! Small portions too. My burger was char broiled I assume as there was bits of burnt / charring on the outside edges. The lobster Mac N Cheese grilled sandwich was excellent. The lava cake dessert is a joke, it’s basically a chocolate muffin with sauce drizzled on top, not worth a 1/3 of what I paid. And they charge 25 cents per to go container, I’ve never seen that before. I would have gladly paid an extra $5 for some heat and a refill on my water. You know it’s cold when the waitress is wearing mittens, lol. I highly regret not leaving before ordering. Lastly the “steak” fries were good but only about a 1/2 portion and I assumed hand cut, not...
