Have been going to the Washington street location for decades and up until recently have always been happy with my experience. Sure the occasional mistake has been made but mistakes happen. Recently though things have gone WAY downhill. Five times In a row my order was not right- the first three times I shrugged it off as I said mistakes happen. The last two times I spoke up only to be told I was being rude and I would not be allowed to treat their employees “that way”. Yesterday the supervisor told me they were considering banning me. So I asked who the manager was and when I could speak to them. Well… Harley is the manger and when I went in to speak to him today he could not have been ruder. Wouldn’t even give me a chance to voice my issues- told me he already knew all about it and had witnessed my rudeness. I seriously could not get a word in. I’m sure he believes he’s now “banned” me however the only words I did get in were that I would be taking my business elsewhere. When I told my husband about this he said he too has had to go back twice to have his order remade because it was incorrect and both times was told it was because he ordered it incorrectly. Between the two of us and our son we were there multiple times a week spending anywhere from ten to forty dollars which we will now be spending elsewhere. Speaking up when something is incorrect should not result in blaming the customer . You are in fact in the business of customer service. I have been in the hospitality business for longer than both Harley and the female supervisor have been alive and dealt with my share of rude customers - but NEVER have I blamed them for their issues. I’ve done my best to address their issues and make them right. My mistake for believing I deserved the same. Especially when I was only “rude” ( in truth assertive in sticking up for myself) to the supervisor and Harley and that was only because they were threatening to ban me for having the nerve to want what I ordered the way I ordered it. For those who have had similar experiences ( and the more people I tell about this the more people I find who have ) I understand Piggly Wiggly makes a great sub that’s less expensive and a...

The Jreck Subs Company was started in 1967 by five Carthage Central High School teachers: Ellis Martin, Keith Waltz, Jerry Haley, Charles Lehman, and Robert Martin, who wanted to make extra money for their families. The first sub "shop" was a converted school bus that was parked outside the U.S. Army post in Watertown, NY. The business went so well that they formed a corporation in 1968 called Jreck Subs Inc., which was derived from the first letters of the five owners' names. After obtaining some financial backing, the corporation opened a bakery to produce sub rolls on a daily basis.
By 1974, there were twenty Jreck Subs Shops from Massena to Syracuse. Since then, Jreck Subs has grown to over forty stores in Northern and Central New York, and plans for significant growth are underway. Annual food shows put on by Jreck Subs Inc. better acquaint the Franchisees with various national vendors of both the food and food service...
Read moreOrdered on Uber Eats and all I got was dry bread with pepperoni slices on it. I am a first time customer. Uber Eats does not present any options for adding ingredients so not knowing I needed to type everything I wanted in the instructions I assumed they had a standard way of making subs like Jersey Mike's does. I paid $9 plus delivery for dry bread with pepperoni slices on it. Who orders that. The Manager tells me she has never seen an order like that and instead of calling the customer to clarify sends me this instead. She tells me she doesn't know what to do and I asked her how she is a manager and doesn't know how to make an order right? She tells me to bring the sandwich back to get veggies put on it except I had it delivered in the first place because I dont have my car with me also taking food handed to a customer back behind the line is a health...
