Oh my goodness! This was an amazing place to stop after snowshoeing at one of the many places in the North Country! I asked the wait staff for a recommendation and after she asked me a few questions, she concluded to recommend the Pork Wings. An amazing choice that I did not regret! Larger than life pork chops on a bone with amazing seasonings. Super tasty. This paired wonderfully with the Garland City Golsh, a brew made right there. Two other wonderful items were the giant pretzel and the loaded potato soup. The portions were perfect and I was pleasantly full but not stuffed after this reward for snowshoeing! The ambience of the Garland City Beerworks is truly remarkable. You have a high ceiling-ed taproom/dining area where on a Saturday afternoon where young families, older friends and groups of all ages enjoyed a break from the frigid outdoors. The taproom is juxta-positioned next to the brewing area where very modern equipment is at work creating the next new creations. We were given a quick tour and it was very enlightening to learn about the brewing process. Garland City Beerworks is a place I will return to on the way to and from ADK and Lake Placid. It is also a great place to stop when going XC skiing, snowshoeing or sledding. Living in Liverpool, NY, I just wish it was closer!

We sat on one of but family sized tables by the windows, very cool esthetically with the warehouse look. We had the absolute best waitress, she said she was a high school teacher and boy was she ever patient and helpful. She was always making sure we were taken care of. The bologna lollipops were good just was a small amount of them I thought. Pretzel was on the small side too. They were out of your cigars we wanted to order and cheese curds. We had the hotdog, maple blt which was fabulous, bourbon burger (my son tore it up) and the buffalo chicken flatbread which I didn’t care for, not sure why but the base is like a spinach artichoke dip base with shredded buffalo chicken on top, I love them both just not together. Crust was too thick for me personally. Fries were hot and perfect I love a thin cut fry! Beers were tasty I had the prison brew one and it was $5 pint night so bonus. Overall I’d definitely go back!

Great food, great beer, friendly service. Used Untapped to find a local brewery that serves food. We were hesitant about the menu options but this turned out perfect. I had the portobello sandwich and it was awesome. Unfortunately the fries were inconsistent which is the only reason they lost a star. Some were hot and yummy and some were cold and hard. That would be my only complaint. My partner had the Garland City Melt and the burger was cooked perfectly. We only tried the in-house beers. We frequent breweries and try a lot of different styles and breweries. While we didn't love some, many were awesome and all we could appreciate what they were going for with all of them (we sampled 8 of them).

I'm from out of town and had just driven many miles prior to arriving in town in hopes of having a delicious beer before going to my lodging. I entered the brewery and the bar was very slow. The bartender did not appear to be in a welcoming or jovial mood. After ordering my beer I asked to pay for my beer. The bartender rudely stated that they cannot do credit cards sales for under $10. The bartender then suggested that I use their ATM of which I responded that I have no interest in paying for a machine to give me my own money back for a fee. I asked if there was a sign stating their credit card rules and she pointed towards a small sign in a darkened corner that I would have never seen nor would anyone else. I asked to see a manager and she gruffly stated she was the manager. I then asked to see an owner and none were available. With some sense of friendliness this could have easily been resolved - I did not touch my beer and I left this brewery knowing I would never return. I went to Spokes downtown and they were delighted to have me. Please consider putting a sign on the front door or on line where it is very visible and consider hiring a manager with a welcoming and positive attitude that treats out of town guests with hospitality rather than as uninformed fools. An...

This was our first visit since last fall and in the past I've had a great experience going there to eat, but we went tonight and it was a very different story.

I'd say who our waitress was but she never gave us her name. We were seated at a table with a view of the heat lamps by the kitchen and we watched as our food sat there and the waitress walked by it repeatedly.

BOTH MEALS WERE COLD!!! with the fries being the only exception.

--The bun on my girlfriends sandwich was so soaked through that it was turning to mush in her hand from the first time she picked it up. She ordered the Chipotle Ranch Sandwich from the specials and it just tasted like taco seasoning on it with no sign of ranch.

--Almost the entirety of the sauce had fallen off the wings and were just a puddle on the plate under it. The wings themselves were some of the best I'd seen around here, but were completely ruined by being cold and having just a thin layer of sauce on the place.

If it was busier I would of understood, but I counted it and there were only 10 tables with 2 waitresses on and at least 2 of the other tables were just drinking and going to the bar.

If you're going to go there for food I'd wait a while and see if this kitchen and wait staff...
