The General Store Deli — Restaurant in City of Watertown

We found the General Store to be very clean, the staff to be very helpful. It is a hometown atmosphere that makes it a comfortable stop. It is convenient and easily accessible.

Our recent visits were to get sub sandwiches, because we kept hearing how great they were. In our experience we have twice gotten subs there and found the ingredients to be high quality and flavorful other than the rolls. The rolls were too soft, soggy, were sweet and yeasty tasting. We removed the meat, cheese and veggies and ate them without the roll. Its a shame that rolls can ruin an experience that was otherwise great...

Very poor!! Went in sat down and ate was there for 45 minutes, got up paid for stuff at the register and never got charged for my food and didn’t realize it. Instead of asking me to pay for it, the owner decided criminal charges were the best coarse of action even after I offered to pay for my mistake! Very unacceptable actions from a county legislator! That is no way to treat the citizens of this community! You should be ashamed of...

Pretty good place, good food, clean. They may not have competitive prices, but it is good quality food. It's good to support our local...
