I seriously wished I had taken a photos of my PORK PAPUSA I had eaten there a moment ago. But I was so damn hungry I just devoured the damn meal. So after my anniversary errands I had ran today i literally was craving something I never eaten before….back then around this area I used to visit my loved one whom I cared deeply for before her passing last year… Now the idea of eating arepas literally kept flooding my mind like a flash flood notification… but the sad part is that this establishment didn’t have Arepas… BUT I WAS greeted by an awesome professional staff and was blessed with the alternative of eating a Papusa….So the entire dining area is extremely huge to fit a wedding party. It’s tidy and comfortable for sure. The staff are definitely welcoming, professional and friendly. The bathroom was most definitely clean. My pork papusa was served to me FRESH, made to order immediately. It wasn’t just blasted in the microwave, this was cooked to perfection for my first time. The condiments was a hot sauce and pickled red onions. Overall my dine In experience at this restaurant was good ! I most definitely see myself gathering a group and heading down Broadway to check out this spot once more.

Read moreThe name caught my eye in a quick Chrome search of "pupusas near me" as I was searching for a place to satisfy a long held craving. While boasting an ample menu filled with delicious-sounding Salvadoran culinary delights I was surprised to find only a sparse selection of pupusas relegated to the appetizer section. The friendly and proficient server offered advice and I ordered a pupusa with cheese and beans and another with beans and chicharron.
She brought us a large, refreshing Regia pilsner to start and the pupusas after. They came plain without garnishments of any kind other than what was kept at the table. The ingredients were wholesome and fresh but devoid of flavor and love. The beans inside were just bland beans and the chicharron was more dry-browned, unseasoned pork meat than actual chicharrón. I ate everything because I was famished, but it was a disappointment.
I suggest the ownership take another name for their restaurant because far from "la pupusa loca" it was more like la pupusa aburrida (the...
Read moreWhile the food is good, the service is absolutely horrible! It seems like there is no management when it comes to customer service. The waitresses always have a bit of an attitude when you ask for something. Today I went with my family and the girl that served us barely came to the table. We practically had to go up to the counter and ask for things. Meanwhile we watched her for almost 5min just chatting away with the other girls that worked there. And if that wasn't bad. We nearly waited 20 min before we had to go and ask someone for the check because our waitress disappeared! One of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant. Granted its not like they're a 5 star restaurant, but they have got to do better! If it wasn't for the quality of food I wouldnt even come here anymore. Def. Ordering take out next time. Such a shame! This place is not what...
