I went there for the 1st time to celebrate my birthday. Even though the name of the place says restaurant we were asked for an ID when we got there and luckily I brought mine. My husband was told over the phone there was a special if you're celebrating any special occasion with a group of people and he was told he can ask for the special upon arrival but when we got there they said that needed to be done with the reservation not like what we were told but whatever. My food (salmon) was delicious ,very tasty. My first drink the papa luchon was not, no flavor and by the color you can tell because it looked very pale so definitely not worth the $25. I had seen pictures of the papa luchon served with a Casamigos little bottle but the waitress didn't asked us and we were served random little tequila bottles so definitely ask for your preference. The cantarito was good. The lights were turned off by 11 and the DJ started putting music. Even though it says they close at 4 by 3:30 the security guards are literally kicking you out with an attitude and all. Overall experience was not the best. Place also looks a little outdated so if you're looking for a nice fancy place...
Read moreSo this place was recommended to us by a family member because he follows their radio station (radio iniciador) and by what they always say this place seemed nice and descent, so we drove almost 2 hours to have dinner and stay for the music, but what a surprised we got! Well first the food was good, drinks were ok they were really sweet you can barely taste the alcohol. But THE WORSE part was the discrimination they gave my brother in laws wife for being pregnant!! They were trying to kick her out by 11 pm as if she was a minor or drinking or smoking, yes everyone at the table was drinking alcohol except her!!!! They did not allow her to dance with her husband, security came up to her trying to kick her out for dancing soft bachata!! (Give me a break!) they have no manners! If this place is doing other ilegal things that thinks a pregnant woman is going to jeapordize their business, PLEASE PUT A SIGN UP SAYING PREGNANT WOMEN NOT ALLOWED!
PS—- there’s no law in NY state saying that a pregnant women is not allowed in a bar or lounge!!!!
Read moreThis used to be the spot to get amazing drinks, food and also club . It just keeps getting worse and worse .... when you ask for a henny colada it would literally be more like liquid piña colada with a dash of Hennessy. I wouldn't recommend to eat here no more either ,last time I had a TORTA and then I open it to remove the tomatoes and there was a death fly in it they did apologize and they said it was because they leave there kitchen door open regardless not taking no chances. Another thing there's security at night be beyond disrespectful and literally be talking to you with a disgusting attitude . Save your time and money it's not worth coming...
