I freaking hate this place! Every time I go there I get a full rack of ribs all to myself and it's so delicious it makes me want to cry. I'm a single woman and I have no business hoarding ribs to myself like a hobbit, but I still to it. The ribs are tender and the meat slides off the bones, the smoke flavor is perfectly balanced, and the bbq sauce is incredibly tangy. Even worse, the staff is kind, and the sides are fresh, I can't think of a single to hate this place and justify my not returning.

The ribs even freeze well, so when I stop by I buy a disgraceful amount of food all for myself. Begrudgingly giving this place five stars because I would drink their...

This is a tiny place on the side of the road, but the food delivers big flavor, and the family that operates it is so friendly. There's a covered patio but only two tables inside. The owner gave me his table so I could sit inside, out of the cold. The pork was tender and juicy and could have been eaten without sauce. Its smoky flavor could carry itself. Baked beans and slaw were good, but you have to like onion. The meat came right off the old brick and steel pit, which you can tell has had a long and productive life. It's well worth the stop if you're near the peach water...

This is the standard that barbecue restaurants should strive for. A delightful no nonsense barbecue place that should put the big name BBQ joints on notice. Beautiful family prepares their food home style. I had the Slider pack and potato salad. The sliders were traditional bbq pork lightly and naturally smoked served on Hawaiian rolls with a sweet and tangy sauce. The potato salad was red potatoes with skins still on that was creamy and full of flavor. The meal was simply elegant. Just off of interstate 65 in Clanton, Alabama (right in the middle of peach country)....

Looking for a quick bite off the interstate and always looking for locally owned. Found this small spot a little worse for wear but BBQ isn't a fancy affair. Got a jumbo BBQ sandwich with chips and a drink for less than ten dollars so the price was great. Sandwich was good, BBQ didn't disappoint, sauce was a little sweet with no real spice and the bun was a little soft for that amount of saucy pork. Kinda messy but overall great value and it got devoured. It didn't rewrite the book but it didn't fall short. Would have again

The one thing I love about the 'Old South' are the traditions, hospitality, and environments. B&K has all of that. The ingrained smell of burnt hickory, in the framework of the structure, will have your mouth watering before you order. Our family decided upon the ribs, chicken, and pulled pork. We all left satisfied and with smiles. The owner, is a true gentleman, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
