Huddle House — Restaurant in Clarkesville

We came in 02/01/ 2024 at around 820pm on Thursday and sat down with our family of 4 the waitress came to our table and got our drink order then left and came back a few mins later with our drink she at this point asked if we were ready to order and we said yes so We started our order first thing we ordered was a big house blt with extra bacon and fries then we ordered the big double burger with American cheese instead of Cheddar cheese and fries then we order a Pattie melt no cheese just grilled onions and fries then ordered a blt with fries and the waitress took our order and sent it on to be cooked so we waited and chit chatted then our food started comming out to our supprize the food was not even worth eating the big house blt with extra bacon what a joke it had two pieces of bacon on it then the big burger came out with a dirty plate and cheddar cheese melted all over hamburger meat that looked like it was cooked yesterday and maybe 10 fries on the plate then the Pattie melt came out with 2 pieces of meat that looked like it was cooked yesterday as well and the bread was burned so we told the waitress of all the problems and she said no worries I will tell them they will recook your food that was big joke she told them all right after she told them they sent out a plate of bacon that was black then recooked the meat same thing burned no taste and same with the Pattie melt we love to eat here but I think we will pass on bye till they can get some people in there that wants to work and takes pride in there job with us paying allmost 89 dollars for all of the food it was a big joke I am very...

Just wow! How a place can change depending on who works there.. One of Mine and my Bf families places we go to eat. It has been only ok the past few visits here. Due to waitresses not getting orders right food not cooked or just not giving you what you ask for period. Needs New people in charge with some customer communicating skills. Give that waitress some comunicating and Customer skills cause she needs them. We are getting our plates waitress gave us a waffle instead of the pancake platters that we ordered. So she took it back and brought us 1 pancake a piece. This is the second time it's wrong. But then rolls her eyes and walks off when she can see that, that was wrong too. If she would have stopped to listen to what we wanted she could have got this right. Then it's like No one wants to acknowledge you. So when I finally get someone else's attention to get a person in charge. Then the ones in charge won't even make it right. They didn't want to talk to me either. I am a nice person to a point. We just wanted our 3 pancakes that comes with the platter, not 1 and not waffles!! Also the bacon to be done. That's all.. Is that soo hard!! Here evidently it is.. Forget coffee refills! On our latest visit, my wife and I enjoyed a very relaxing brunch at the Clarkesville location. Their friendly waitstaff kept our coffee and tea replenished, without having to flag them down. This is a necessity, seeing that a fresh and steaming cup of Huddle House coffee makes all our worries seem vaguely distant (even if only temporary). Our meal came quickly, just as we ordered them. While preparing food, the cooks and line staff were all jovially humming along to the Christian music playing throughout the restaurant. As we finished our food and arose to depart, I also took notice of a clean floor. Important? Yes! Typically, most any restaurant that draws similar comparison with the Huddle House tends to have a slick surface - from entrance to table to register - equivalating to a slick and haphazard surface on which to maneuver. I would highly recommend this location to anyone traveling about the northeast Georgia foothills, if you are looking for a quick fix of java or a fast meal...
