This is a super cute little coffee and boba shop tucked in the corner of Clarkesville. The folks were friendly, the shop was adorably decorated and clean. The drinks were fine; certainly not bad but the coffee wasn't gourmet by any means and the boba tea was neither the best I've had nor was it the worst. They were out of strawberry tea which leads to why I left a three star review on the food: In my experience strawberry fruit and milk tea seemed to be one of the most popular flavors locally and they were out of both the tea And the poppers; a common occurrence in a lot of the bubble tea shops I have visited. My main gripe was while the tea was marked sold-out on the menu, the poppers were not and I wasn't informed of this fact until After we had already paid. Knowing this in advance would have definitely changed my order to a smaller And cheaper coffee drink. So, that was rather off-putting, but hopefully just a fluke.
It was a pleasant enough experience that I would give them another try in the future. Maybe I'd just ask in advance about the...
Read moreI love Alabaster’s! I come here at least twice a week to get loaded teas. My husband and I have tried multiple different teas and they’re all amazing. I’m not a tea drinker, I’m not from the south and never acquired a taste for sweet tea. I was hesitant to even try a loaded tea but I’m so glad I did!! I sold my husband on trying them by telling him they taste like a better kool-aid but with caffeine. We tricked ourselves into thinking we are tea people now so we have tried loaded teas from different places and it’s been a mistake everytime. Other places are so sour and we can’t get more than two sips down. Alabaster’s is the only place we love! They’ve been our “new” obsession for well over a year now. The biscuits are absolutely delicious too. Everyone who works here is so kind and sweet and truly people of God. I can’t rave enough. Try the once and I believe you’ll fall in love like we did!! The drive-thru option is absolutely...
Read moreI wasn’t impressed at all. We ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit, bacon egg and cheese biscuit, a bacon egg and cheese bagel (only option was blueberry, french toast or everything) yet I wanted plain, biscuit /gravy and a side of eggs. We were told up front they were out of ham, chicken & baloney on a Saturday morning around 9am ish.
We received our drinks promptly and food was soon to follow. Here is where the disappointment is…the sausage was equivalent to what McDonald’s serves (I was expecting “real” sausage and I’d bet money the eggs were powdered eggs. The biscuit was big yet not great as they were dry. My daughter said her bacon was almost burnt.
The biscuits/gravy and eggs my grand babies picked over barely eating.
Our bill was $34 and some change.
I wish this establishment the best but next time I’ll choose Stew N...
