To bad I can’t leave zero stars. I will never eat here again. Our experience was so bad, the police had to be called due to the managers aggressive behavior towards us. The whole incident started when we discovered a very long piece of hair in our food!! And the manager took NO responsibility.
Here are the facts: I came here to eat with my sister and my 3 small children. Half way through enjoying our meal, my 5 year old says, “Mommy what is this? There’s something funny in my mouth?” He pulls out a long, light colored, slightly curly, piece of hair from his mouth!! The manager accepted NO RESPONSIBILITY! Finally, he grudgingly offered to bring us a new chicken lo-mein. We nod our heads yes just to get him to go away. We decide to immediately leave. The manager see us preparing to leave and demands we pay for our meal. We calmly refuse to pay and try to quietly leave as there are now several more customers in the restaurant. He is causing a bigger scene as he is now yelling and shouting at us. I am about to put my 8 month old baby in her stroller and he yanks my stroller from my hand and I almost drop my baby. He flings the stroller away from me demanding I pay for our meal first. He is literally standing in my way so I can not leave the restaurant. He has his finger in my face and withholding my stroller from me and shouting, “ You eat! You pay!” I continuously inform him I’m not paying for food that has hair in it and demand he give me back my stroller. He flings my stroller across the restaurant. I am so shocked I just keep telling him to move out of my way and give my back my stroller. Finally, I take my hand and physically give him a gentle, but firm enough push to the left so he takes me seriously. I take my stroller, which I notice is damaged, and we proceed to leave. My sister lives in the neighborhood so we are on foot. He follows us!! That’s when I call the police. I have 3 small children with me and I don’t feel safe. He followed us for several blocks before the police finally show up. We explain to the police officer what took place and how unsafe we feel at the moment due to the managers persisting aggressiveness. The police officer talks to the manager then comes back to us and says the manager would like us to pay $12.50 to settle the matter. HA! I tell the officer I’m not paying a dime. He damaged my personal property, refused to let me leave the restaurant.....I’ll pay $12.50 if he agrees to pay $75.00 for damaging my stroller......as you can see from the response from the owner: They accept NO responsibility and also no explanation for the manager or whoever he was for acting so unprofessional in his own restaurant. He didn’t sue because I could sue right back for damaging my...

Read moreI want to love this place, but I can't. First - the menu is great - they have a variety of Thai, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine, plus sushi and sashimi. If your family has trouble agreeing on what to order, this is a big plus. My chicken-tender-loving kids can get Chicken tempura, I can get sushi or sashimi, my husband can get udon noodles or a Thai basil dishes, etc. The food itself is decent - sushi is fresh and flavorful, even if they do skimp on ginger and wasabi (the wasabi is kind of bland for wasabi). Hot dishes are also good - not too greasy with plenty of flavor. Sometimes they're out of really odd stuff - like tamago (it's basically an omelet) - but that happens everywhere. Now, for the bad - we tend to order takeout from here. I've ordered online, I've ordered via the telephone, I've specifically asked when to arrive to pick up food. It doesn't matter, my order is NEVER ready when I get there. I can arrive 10 minutes late, it's not ready. More than once, they hadn't even started it. Last time I went, I waited NEARLY AN HOUR for the sushi portion of our order to be ready, even though the hot food was ready when I arrived. What happened? You guessed it - Sushi was cold when I finally got it home, but so was everything else. I even mentioned this to the woman at the counter who looked up and said "only one pair hands make sushi." I get it lady, I do, but maybe start with the sushi and pop it in a chiller case or fridge (like the one the drinks are in) and then make the hot food? Also, if my hot food has been sitting out getting cold and soggy for an hour, you should offer to remake it, the end. I swear every time I go here the wait is longer. The first time it happened I thought it was just a crazy night, the 2nd time, I thought it was the online ordering system because she had to look up my order that they had not even started yet. This last time, I called to avoid the perceived online system issue. I got there 5-10 minutes late due to unanticipated traffic, hot food ready and sitting there, sushi not started. Maybe if you're only ordering hot food or only ordering cold food, you'll have better luck, but be...
